✨ From meh to masterpiece in your compo writing ✨

✍️ Ep 6:When someone is caught after doing something wrong, what is their reaction?

😳Usually, it starts with shame. Their actions and expressions begin to change.

😨Then, when they realise the seriousness of what they have done, fear sets in.
Their faces, expressions, and even their body reactions will show how they feel.

Watch the video to learn more useful words and expressions for your compo! 👀

✍️ Ep 5:When writing about a scene where you try to stop someone from doing something wrong, what should you describe?

Start with your feelings and inner thoughts.
First, how would you feel?
😠You might feel angry or upset, and your inner thoughts will appear in your mind.

🏃Then show your actions — for example, chasing after the person quickly while calling out to them.

Learning how to describe reactions clearly helps students write stronger and more vivid compositions. 📚

✍️ Ep 4: How do you describe when you see something is not right, and you want to stop it?

🤔Think about it — when you see someone doing something wrong, what feelings do you have first?

🤚Then, when they are about to leave, what action will you take?

🤓Many students like to write “三步并作两步”, but today Happy Teacher will teach a better and more vivid verb that can make your composition stand out!

Don’t forget to take notes! 📒✨

✍️Ep 3:Your friend tears a page from a library book and passes it to you — what would you do?😱

👀This is a situation we often see in Chinese compos— describing a student’s reaction after doing something wrong.

✌️After today’s lesson, you’ll know what verbs to use when you face similar topics in the future!

✍️When writing about a value, students can describe teachers or parents saying something serious but with a good heart.(语重心长地说)

We can also use a question back, for example:
“Would you like others to play tricks on you?”(你希望其他同学捉弄你吗?)

⚠️And remember — after a character apologises, the story should show a real change in behaviour. Actions prove growth!

💁‍♀️We also encourage our students to build up useful sayings about values, like
“己所不欲,勿施于人” (Do not do to others what you do not want others to do to you).

🌟These expressions are useful not only now, but even in secondary school!

✍️Ep 2:What do you do when you see people secretly talking about something ?

👉You will feel curious and walk over to take a look.👀 (好奇地走过去一看)

🤨Imagine this: you notice a boy holding an open comic book, tearing down(把…撕下来) a beautiful picture and passing them to(递给) another boy.

The more vivid your description, the stronger your composition becomes!💪

✍️Ep 1:How do you describe the moment when you see something suspicious and want to find out what’s happening?

🤓Instead of plain sentences, we zoom in on actions and emotions —
走过(walking past), 突然看到(suddenly noticing), 神色慌张(look nervous),悄悄地说 (secretly saying).

This is how an ordinary paragraph becomes a masterpiece! 🌟

Composition class highlight ✍️
When the picture shows day turning to night, students can use “夜幕降临” (night falls) to describe it. 🌙

This compo also required the word “屏幕” (screen) — a word from P5 textbook.

If students don’t remember it, they might struggle to describe repeated elements in the picture. That’s why reviewing textbook vocabulary is so important! 📚

When learning a new phrase,we also show students how it can be used in other scenarios, so they can apply it in more than one context. 💡
