The workouts are unofficial but the heavy lifting and team spirit very much real.
Kudos to this team that shows up, keeps up and keeps going 🙌
Cherrybrook Preschool
Welcome to Cherrybrook Preschool! We build character through academic excellence. Now more than a decade on, we have grown more than tenfold!
In 1998 a group of parents formed PAFED (Parents For EDucation), a not-for-profit organisation inspired by the spirit and teachings of St. Josemaria Escriva, who encouraged parents to be the first educators of their children. Cherrybrook Kindergarten started in 2001 with an initial enrollment of seven children along with seven teachers. Cherrybrook is one of over 150 schools worldwide which share
Let us rejoice for he is risen!
Our K1 and K2 children from all three centres had a meaningful field trip to the Sustainable Gallery, deepening their understanding of sustainability and caring for the environment 🌳💧
Some highlights include transforming old T-shirts into small pouches, discovering Singapore’s water system, and learning the proper use of recycling bins through a hands-on activity, building on their learning from school.
We hope these experiences spark conversations at home too — perhaps through activities like sorting recyclables together or finding ways to upcycle materials as a family. Every little action counts!
Hands-on, purposeful, unhurried learning.

Cherrybrook in Concert 2025
8 November 2025
It was an afternoon of anticipation, joy and wonderful performances as our families from across all our centres gathered together at SAFRA Toa Payoh for our Cherrybrook in Concert. Held once every two years, the concert is a treasured highlight of every Cherrybrook child’s journey. It was also a time for our families to gather as one community, to give thanks for the gift of our children, our families, and our teachers.
Under the staff's tireless guidance, the children had been practising hard for the concert a few months before. Their hard work paid off as the children enthusiastically performed on stage, displaying great courage, unity and excellence.
A big thank you to all our volunteers and sponsors who gave their time and resources so generously. We would not have pulled this off without your help!

At Cherrybrook, character formation is at the heart of what we do. Through The Virtues Project, we help children recognise and practise virtues in their daily actions — nurturing positive habits and dispositions of the heart. 💛
Our students are lovingly encouraged to give their very best in everything they do — whether it’s a classroom task or a hands-on activity. We cultivate virtues such as diligence, excellence, self-discipline, fortitude, generosity, and joy.
By engaging fully in the learning process, they discover the joy that comes from growth, effort, and doing their best.
Here's a look at what some of our children wrote when we introduced the virtues of Gentleness and Peacefulness to them.

Tuckshop Day 2025
For two days in August, our schools were turned into a mini tuckshop where children got to “buy” snacks from stalls set up by parent volunteers. 🍿🍪🧁🍕🌭🥤
On Tuckshop Day each year, the children get to experience how to handle money (especially coins), make thoughtful choices, and practise independence — just like in a "big" school! The K1 and K2 children put into practice the lessons on money and spending wisely that they've had prior to the event.
Thank you to our Tuckshop Aunties and Uncles who generously volunteered their time and resources to make this happen! The children had a blast.

Racial Harmony Day
Racial Harmony Day was bursting with colour and culture as many of our children came dressed in ethnic costumes. Across the 3 centres, the children engaged in a variety of activities that explored the diverse cultures of Singapore — Malay, Chinese, Indian, and Peranakan.
Some of the activities included the children exploring different spices, creating their own rangoli patterns, listening to stories on racial harmony, Chinese traditional painting and even a fashion show!
We also had a great time playing traditional games such as five stones, hopscotch, and zero point. The children then satiated their hunger by snacking on yummy traditional snacks such as roti prata, muruku, and kueh lapis.
Through these fun and meaningful activities, the children learned the importance of friendliness and respecting the different races that make Singapore unique.
A heartfelt thank you to all the parents who contributed to the celebration — whether by providing snacks or volunteering your time. We truly appreciate your support in making the day meaningful and memorable for the children!

Our March holidays were buzzing with fun and learning across all our preschools!
Building on recent excursions, some centres learnt more farmyard animals and nature through songs, movement, stories, art, and outdoor observations. Others focused on essential self-help skills, practising respect, independence, and orderliness while learning to care for themselves and others. Here’s a peek into what our little ones had been up to.
