We are thankful for the invitation from Hahnemann Travel & Tours Pte Ltd to allow us the opportunity to share about our "Fit for Hajj / Umrah" programme to their pilgrims departing for Umrah.

The programme was developed in December 2015 to help pilgrims learn about their physiology, manage their nutrition, sleep and prepare them physically as well as mentally so that they can be emotionally at peace to focus on their spiritual journey.

This programme is a first in Singapore, and is able to be done intensively or gradually, depending on your date of departure.

Thanks to the feedback from our participants and partners, to make the schedule more conducive for families in conjunction with the school holidays that have recently begun, we have decided to reschedule the start date of the programme to 9 Dec 2017. We hope to make the programme more accessible to as many families as possible.

It's a honour for us to work with Organisers Chiam See Tong Sports Foundation to bring their Cooking Matters Programme to the community.
Cooking Matters is a Financial and Nutritional Literacy programme for Students, Athletes and their Families.

The programme will utilise games based interactive learning technology and the skills & experience of our trainers to help students as young as 6 and adults that don't like looking at number understand concepts of financial literacy and how to apply personal financial management skills in daily life. In the current economy it is becoming increasingly important for children to understand the value of money and what it means for the family to be able to stretch their dollars.

We will also teach athletes and students how to access resources (like work, funding, bursaries, scholarships and sponsorships) and save for their long term goals in sports.

The other half of the programme covers the understanding of personal health and nutritional literacy skills for growing young athletes and their families. As well as key knowledge on nutrition in preparation for studies, exams and competition training.

Combining both components in our Smart Shopping programme will enable families to get the best nutritional and economic value for their money.

Taking big concepts and making them digestible for young minds to absorb quickly and retain and apply these skills for the rest of their lives. We want parents and family members to be part of the learning process so that they can bond and grow progressively as a family towards a better life through better opportunities and management of personal resources.

Our Director of Strength Sports and Technical Director of Singapore Strongman Series, Ahmad Taufiq Muhammad is headed for Arnold's this May.

Taufiq has put Singapore on the map with his world ranking and podium finishes at international competitions.

And help to elevate the sport locally in Singapore by organising our national league and regional championships, securing places for our athletes at international competitions through participation in our local league competitions. Having brought several of our local athletes to Europe, Australia and other Asian competitions with him in the process.

He does this as part of our organising committee of volunteers, without getting paid and pumping in our own resources to make the competitions a reality.

We do hope that fellow Singaporeans will support Taufiq in his efforts to do Singapore proud again at Arnold's 2016.

Thank you!
