On 26 May, alumni from Margaret Drive, Depot Road and Jurong West, together with our current students, took part in the HY70 Relay Run — a symbolic 70km journey marking 70 years of Hua Yi.

More than just a run, it was a journey through time — passing the baton across campuses, sharing stories, and celebrating the enduring Hua Yi spirit. From where we started to where we are today, we continue to go the distance together. 💙🤍

Dear Alumni,

On 28 March 2026, we held our 15th Annual General Meeting (AGM) at Hua Yi Secondary School. During the AGM, 27 members were elected to form the 8th HYAS Committee, alongside the appointment of 2 Honorary Presidents, 2 Auditors, and our School Advisor.

We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our outgoing 7th Committee Members - Mr Hor Tuck Choy, Ms Png Seow Nan Daphne, and Ms Goh Choon Geok Nancy, for their dedicated service and contributions.

We also welcome Ms Neo Mui Kian and Ms Yeo Hwee Hong (Michelle), who previously served as auditors in the 7th Committee, and have now been elected as members of the 8th Committee.

As we embark on this new term, the 8th HYAS Committee remains committed to strengthening alumni connections and supporting our Alma Mater in her endeavours. We look forward to your continued support, especially as we roll out upcoming HY70 celebrations in the months ahead.

Yesterday (28 Feb), over 60 alumni returned to Hua Yi to celebrate Lunar New Year together with a 70-ft long Lohei, specially prepared by chefs from Conrad Singapore - part of our HY70 celebrations!

The celebration also marked the official launch of the revamped Student Hub, joined by our staff, students, and distinguished guests.

We were honoured to have Director of Schools Mrs Tan Chen Kee as our Guest of Honour.

Yesterday (16 Feb), some of our HYAS Committee Members joined the school as they ushered in the new year, together with partners from the School Advisory Committee (SAC) and Parents' Support Group (PSG). HYAS sponsored the red packets for the elderly and school support staff. Honorary President Mr Benny Lee also sponsored the lion dance performance. 🦁
