This February, our children took an active role in maintaining a clean environment by washing their toy cars, bicycles, stools, and shoe racks. Using soapy water, sponges, and plenty of enthusiasm, they worked with purpose and focus to complete the task.

Through this hands-on activity, they developed practical life skills, hand-eye coordination, gross and fine motor skills, as well as language and social skills by engaging in conversations with their peers. It was a joyful and meaningful experience, with children fully involved and proud of their efforts! 🧽

The day began with joyful singing of Chinese New Year songs, filling the air with festive cheer. After an enthusiastic singalong, our students headed outdoors for exciting games like Shark Catching the Fish and Picking Up Good Luck Items. They put their agility to the test and had a fantastic time!

A delicious lunch re-energised everyone for more fun, including Passing the Good Luck, where students completed surprise tasks when they received the Good Luck card. The celebration wrapped up with a creative art activity, bringing a colourful end to a wonderful day.

Our students had a blast celebrating Halloween! They went trick-or-treating around the neighborhood in their spooky costumes, pumpkin baskets in hand, and were thrilled by the festive decorations and variety of candies. 🎃👻

The day was filled with fun games and activities, with the tattoo corner being the clear favorite. Candy floss and ice cream added extra sweetness to the celebration. The children were delighted to take home their special Halloween goodie bags! 🍬

The day began with a special assembly celebrating the cultural significance of the Moon Cake Festival. Our children performed a lovely mid-autumn song in Chinese, followed by a lantern walk outside the school, showcasing some impressive handmade lanterns. 🏮

We then enjoyed outdoor games like "Chang'er Flying to the Moon" and "Ping Pong Racket Around the Table," where the children participated with great curiosity. After a delicious meal, the kids played an indoor game called "Fishing the Moon" using chopsticks and spoons. 🥢

To wrap up the day, our students savored mooncakes with tea for their evening snack and engaged in art and crafts, creating beautiful depictions of rabbits and mooncakes.🥮

The day began with teachers welcoming students in party attire. After the morning assembly, everyone participated in the obstacle race and played "Guess Who's Hiding Under the Rainbow Tent," filled with enthusiasm and cheers. 🌈

The highlight was when the children received their gifts; their smiles truly made our day. In the afternoon, fun activities continued, showcasing their motor skills and teamwork as they balanced balloons between their backs and foreheads.🎈

Children learnt essential laundry skills through water play. They practiced washing, scrubbing, wringing, and hanging clothes on a clothesline using pegs. The activity involved using detergent and scrubbing clothes on a laundry board. The children enthusiastically wrung out the clothes and proudly hung them on the line, experiencing a sense of accomplishment. This fun and interactive lesson not only taught them an important life skill but also fostered a sense of responsibility. 🧽

Our students celebrated National Day in ethnic attire, starting with a performance of the theme song, "Not Alone." The festivities included outdoor games such as rolling a ball into a basket and a flag relay race, with the playground decorated Kampong-style and red and white balloons adding to the atmosphere.

Following a sumptuous lunch lovingly prepared by parents, the students engaged in indoor activities, including identifying old and new Singapore coins and recognising landmarks. Kaya toast and Milo provided a boost of energy for traditional games like five stones, chapteh, pick-up sticks, and spinning tops. The day concluded with students making "I Love Singapore" wristbands.

In the month of July, students practiced kicking techniques, including effort control, instep, and inside kicks. They also worked on passing, running, and stopping the ball, which improves muscle strength, attention, body awareness, and social bonding. 🦵🏻

Our outdoor activity involved transferring coloured water using a pipette. The children enjoyed this engaging experience, which not only made water play fun but also helped them develop fine motor skills, concentration, and control. 🙂
