🌟 Growing Future-Ready Starlites Through Learning, Innovation and Sustainability
Punggol View Primary School is privileged to host the inaugural MOE BEB CN–SG programme in Singapore on 17 July 2026, welcoming fellow education leaders from China for a meaningful exchange of ideas and practices.
During the visit, we had the opportunity to showcase three of our school’s strategic programmes that support the development of our students as future-ready learners.

🌱 Positive Education & Growth Mindset
Through engaging games and authentic experiences, our Starlites learn to put Growth Mindset principles into practice. By connecting theory with real-life experiences, learning becomes meaningful, relevant and applicable.

🤖 AI-Enabled Language Learning
Our teachers are beginning to harness SALIS in the Student Learning Space (SLS) to support language learning. With AI-enabled learning experiences, students can receive more engaging and personalised opportunities to learn at their own pace.
🔬 Science, Hydroponics & Sustainability
Our Science lessons extend beyond the classroom through hands-on Hydroponics experiences. Students apply their knowledge of science and sustainability as they learn to grow vegetables using technology.

🥬 From Farm to Table
Our harvest doesn't stop at the farm! Through our Farm-to-Table initiative, vegetables grown by our students are used to augment food in the school canteen. This encourages our Starlites to appreciate and enjoy vegetables while understanding the importance of healthy and sustainable living—supporting our Grow Well SG strategy.

At Punggol View, we believe that education is about growing minds, nurturing character and inspiring possibilities. 🌟 We are grateful for this opportunity to learn and share across education systems, and to showcase how we are preparing our Starlites to Grow and Glow in an ever-changing world.

Our Primary 1 performers lit up the stage as they sang and danced to familiar nursery rhymes with confidence, creativity, and joyful energy. Through our Applied Learning Programme, students developed effective communication skills by speaking with clarity, using expressive gestures and demonstrating confidence in their stage presence.

From finding their voices to performing with smiles, every child took a brave step forward. 🌟

Here's to building confident communicators—one rhyme, one song, and one performance at a time! 💙

Our Primary 2 students took the stage to showcase everything they have learnt through our Applied Learning Programme (ALP).

From projecting their voices and expressing emotions to using confident body language and working together as a team, our young performers truly brought their stories to life. Their performance was more than just a play—it was a celebration of courage, creativity, communication, and growth.

Here's to many more stories waiting to be told! 📖🎤✨

PGVP had the pleasure of having Minister of State (MOS), Ms Jasmine Lau, on Tue 21 April at our school. Our Starlites kicked things off with a lively storytelling session, sharing Singapore pioneer stories in both English and Mother Tongue and even inviting MOS to join in! From a student dialogue to confident reporters at our PGVP Star Theatre, our Starlites truly shone.

At our MOE Kindergarten, our young learners showed how they learn language through play, from vocabulary activities to friendship bracelets inspired by “I Love My Friends in the Kindergarten.” We wrapped up with a meaningful staff dialogue on Singapore’s education landscape.

A big thank you to MOS Ms Jasmine Lau for spending the morning with us and affirming the work we do. And to our students and staff, you make us proud! ✨
