PGVP had the pleasure of having Minister of State (MOS), Ms Jasmine Lau, on Tue 21 April at our school. Our Starlites kicked things off with a lively storytelling session, sharing Singapore pioneer stories in both English and Mother Tongue and even inviting MOS to join in! From a student dialogue to confident reporters at our PGVP Star Theatre, our Starlites truly shone.
At our MOE Kindergarten, our young learners showed how they learn language through play, from vocabulary activities to friendship bracelets inspired by “I Love My Friends in the Kindergarten.” We wrapped up with a meaningful staff dialogue on Singapore’s education landscape.
A big thank you to MOS Ms Jasmine Lau for spending the morning with us and affirming the work we do. And to our students and staff, you make us proud! ✨

With great excitement and confidence, our P4 dstudents demonstrated their experiments, explained scientific concepts, and interacted with their peers who stopped by to watch and ask questions. Their passion for sharing what they had learned was evident as they proudly presented their ideas, models, and hands-on demonstrations. Science Busking Week provided a meaningful platform for the students to communicate their learning, practise public speaking, and spark curiosity among their friends. More importantly, it created a joyful learning atmosphere where science came alive through exploration, collaboration, and creativity. It was truly heartening to see the energy, teamwork, and pride the Primary 4 students displayed.

Check out our P4 students in action! As part of their Science Busking journey, they’ve been:
• Creating: Building intricate digestive system models from recyclables.
• Collaborating: Working in teams to simplify science.
• Communicating: Presenting live to a recess crowd!
This initiative is a perfect blend of CAIT in action and developing 21st Century Competencies (E21CC). Our students aren't just learning science; they're learning how to lead and inspire others! 🌟
