Reflections – Republic Polytechnic’s Community Arts Festival is a month-long festival of music, dance, theatre and visual arts. Every year in November, we come together to celebrate our student talents and promote a common appreciation of arts in the community by featuring both students and professionals in a wide array of programmes from performances, exhibitions, film screenings, variety shows t
o workshops and dialogues. For the past five years, Reflections has also seen many renowned arts groups perform at the festival, such as our home-grown A Ca****la group Budak Pantai, Hossan Leong, T’ang Quartet, Jeremy Monteiro, Paper Monkey Theatre Ltd and The Main Wayang Theatre Company. With the support of RP’s staff and many community and artistic partners, this highly anticipated student-driven year-end festival has managed to reach out to a larger group of audiences each year, signifying the growth of TRCC as an Arts hub at the heart of the community.
