I want to talk about something that broke my heart a little this week.

I have been doing this long enough to know that results are not guaranteed.

But there is a specific kind of hurt that comes when a student has done everything right — showed up every single week, put in the work, trusted the process — and still walks away from competition day feeling like they let themselves down.

That one stings. Every single time.

Because I know what went into it. I was there every weekend. I saw the effort. I know how much it mattered to them and to their families.

And I keep asking myself — did we do enough? Not just the drilling, but the strategy. The confidence. The belief that when the paper is in front of you, you are ready.

This is why I do what I do differently.

We do not just teach Math. We prepare students for the specific competition they are sitting. The structure. The traps. The timing. The mental game.
