CiDi Games' beta launches, demonstrating the power of Raspberry Pi-based development
On May 14, CiDi Games released a beta app to the Raspberry Pi ecosystem, introducing an HTML5 gaming platform that can be accessed directly through the raspberry Pi browser.
The beta version offers skill-based tournaments, platform growth system via CiDiScore, Elf Continent, and Pi integrated game developer infrastructure along with 10 games in various categories including casual, puzzle, neglect, action, and competitive games. With these features, CiDi Games provides a platform-level experience that integrates gameplay, identity, community engagement, and developer opportunities into one Pi-based environment.
CiDi Games, the portfolio company of Pi Network Ventures, is expanding the Pi ecosystem through providing Pi users with new ways to utilize Pi through games while providing new ways
to use Pi through games, with infrastructure that can support more games and developers over time.
A demonstration of organic traction on Pi
CiDi Games has naturally attracted more than 81,000 Pioneers from 160+ countries and regions within less than a week of its launch. These activities led to more active participation, with a total of over 1.2 million game sessions and 21,000 tournament/tournament participants.
CiDi Games has recorded a considerable number of advertisements exposure, which shows that developers can monetize real users through the Raspberry Pi advertising network if they just build useful and engaging apps.
CiDi Games app has risen in the Pi Ecosystem Directory Staking by staking a total of 3,19 million Pi, and most of them were staked in the community, making it one of the top Pi staking apps. Staking is a selective way for pioneers and businesses to support the apps they build or use, and it is a prickly signal for developers to show community interest.
These results in just one week were a completely natural phenomenon and not by promotion of Pi official account. Pioneers have discovered and used CiDi Games entirely for themselves. This demonstrates that a well-designed app that is tailored to real user needs can lead meaningful engagement through the Pi ecosystem without the additional cost of user acquisition.
Possibility of Raspberry Pi platform and Raspberry Pi-based development that can be found through CiDi Games beta release
The natural response to the CiDi Games beta launch shows Pi's solution to the problem that developers face becoming increasingly difficult, developing big apps is getting easier but reaching real users is getting harder.
Pi platform connects developers or creators with a large community of active pioneers, supporting app experiences that address human needs.
For developers and creators, the Raspberry Pie ecosystem is not just a space for posting apps, but also a platform for real users to discover, use, support and improve apps. The beta launch of CiDi Games showed how Raspberry Pi infrastructure supports interactive products, and provides developers with a community of over 60 million engaged pioneers, raspberry Pi-optimized engagement mechanisms, revenue-generating tools to support product improvement and continuous development.
All developers can reap the benefits of the raspberry pie ecosystem by developing and distributing a raspberry pie app that addresses the needs of real people. Submit your application through the Raspberry Pie Developer Portal on the Raspberry Pie Browser.
Developers using external AI tools such as Codex, Claude Code, Replit, Cursor, Lovable or other AI-assisted coding tools can easily convert apps into Pi apps with the recently released Pi App Studio developer tool. In Pi App Studio, you can integrate Pi SDK, check settings, and add Pi payment features using ready-to-use AI prompts. Also, Pi App Studio makes it easier to distribute apps to the Pi ecosystem, secure and engage users, like CiDi Games.
Pi app is already integrated with other infrastructure components of Pi Network such as global payment, Pi Wallet, Pi Ad Network and social network access in addition to improving user input and engagement.
Continuous app development and integration within the Pi ecosystem
CiDi Games will continuously collect feedback, improve user experience, improve platform functionality, and expand game libraries through collaboration with Pi. Through real use, developers can get ongoing feedback on what works, what can be improved, and what new ways of use are.
Open CiDi Games in the Pi browser to use the beta app, enjoy instant-playable games, and explore new Pi-based gaming experiences.
