✨ Meet the Artist: Music Direction Edition ✨

At the core of Terminal Two is a powerful score that bridges traditions. We are incredibly grateful for Renu Suresh, our senior piano teacher, whose musical experience has helped to shape the sonic landscape of this production.

Turn your sound on to hear our music director share why live performance remains so irreplaceable. It’s all about the raw, unfiltered energy of people creating, listening, and being together in the exact same moment.

That collective pulse is what breathes life into Mr. Selva’s story, and we can’t wait for you to feel it.

✨ Meet the Artist: Playwright Edition ✨

A collaboration is very fruitful when everyone is open to pushing boundaries, trying new ideas, and just having simple fun. Vishnucharan Naidu is one energy we are absolutely delighted to have here with us for Terminal Two!

Bringing over a decade of experience in collaborative theatre-making, Vishnu’s practice is deeply rooted in amplifying voices that are less often centred. His rich background in socially conscious theatre, applied drama, and movement has been instrumental in shaping the heart of this production.

Hear him share what it’s been like collaborating with the TFA family, and the unique creative challenges he faced in penning this story!

His observations and creativity are what have brought Mr. Selva alive, and we can’t wait to share this with all of you. We are exactly 3 weeks away from opening night, and this is your sign to not wait, but go ahead and get your invitations!

Don’t let time just slip by you!

✨ Meet the Artist: Choreographer Edition ✨

“How do we age gracefully and purposefully?”

We sat down with our senior Bharathanatyam dance teacher, Lakshmi Krishnan, as she opens up about where she finds her own sense of purpose and space within the creative process today.

She notes that the story of Terminal Two is for everyone, bringing to light a beautifully human question we tend to overlook in our daily lives: how to find meaning and intent as time quietly passes.

Turn your sound on to hear Lakshmi Akka share a glimpse of what to expect this July!

✨ Introducing our Mr. Selva ✨

We are honoured and incredibly grateful to have the warm and captivating R Chandran step into the shoes of Mr. Selva for Terminal Two.

Mr. Chandran is the founding director of ACT 3 Theatrics, Singapore’s first professional theatre company. With decades of artistry as a writer, actor, director, and educator, watching him bring his nuance and generous spirit to our rehearsal space has been a privilege.

Turn your sound on to hear him share what makes Terminal Two interesting - exploring the transitions of life, aging, and finding out what we do when a lifetime of work suddenly comes to a halt.

Don’t miss a chance to see Mr. Chandran don the janitorial vest and transform into Mr. Selva.

“A few more hours and I’ll be a free man. Wake up tomorrow… no need to come here. No mop… no trolley… no announcements. Not bad. I guess I’ll wake up and see how.”

For decades, the airport terminals have been the anchor of Selva’s life. It’s where his children grew up, where his wife is remembered, and where time quietly passed. But at 65, as he prepares to hang up his uniform, a chance encounter turns into an unexpected journey through his own memories.

We are 5 weeks away from Mr. Selva’s exit interview. Come watch how a simple act of care turns into a search of identity, direction and purpose.

Last Friday, TFA @ GAC came alive with the incredible energy of Sri Mahesh Kale and his Abhang workshop. Organized in conjunction with the Mahesh Kale School of Music (MKSM), this intimate masterclass was the perfect, soulful prelude to the grand Abhangwari concert.

The National Award-winning maestro didn’t just teach compositions—he deconstructed the rich Warkari tradition. From the intricate raga frameworks behind verses by Sant Tukaram and Sant Dnyaneshwar, to the fluid emotional surrender (bhava) needed to bring them to life, our students and community got a masterclass in blending rigorous Hindustani technique with pure devotion.

We are grateful to Mahesh Kale ji for sharing his brilliance, and to everyone who joined us to learn, sing, and elevate their craft!
