Ever wondered why the Moon sometimes looks full and round, sometimes half-lit, and sometimes like a tiny crescent? 🌙

It may look like the Moon is changing shape, but it actually stays round all the time.

The Moon does not produce its own light. It reflects light from the Sun. As the Moon moves around Earth, the part lit by the Sun looks different from where we are on Earth.

That is why we see different Moon phases, such as the crescent moon, half moon, and full moon.

Share this fun science fact with your child and explore the wonders of nature together!

Curiosity starts with questions. Confidence starts with language. Book a free trial lesson and start your child’s Mandarin learning journey today. Tap the link in bio to register.
