From 5 to 12 July 2026, three Victorians represented Singapore at the ASEAN Plus Three Junior Science Odyssey (APTJSO) in Clark Freeport Zone, the Philippines, together with students from Cedar Girls’ Secondary School. APTJSO brings together young scientists from ASEAN and South Korea to strengthen scientific thinking, regional collaboration and innovation.
Centred on climate action and sustainability, the programme was packed with hands-on learning. Our students coded satellite data using Google Earth Engine, calculated carbon footprints, explored disaster resilience, tracked bird behaviour in the Pamulaklakin and Subic Forest Trails, and developed innovative solutions to sustainability challenges before presenting them to a panel of judges.
Beyond the science, one of the greatest highlights was the opportunity to connect with brilliant young minds from across the region. Through cultural performances, local food exchanges, teamwork and shared experiences, our students built meaningful cross-border friendships and discovered how cultural diversity can strengthen collaboration.
Congratulations to our three participants on their achievements: Warren Wu (3G), Ryan Liu (3J) and Ethan Eilhan Hitchins (4G).
We are proud of our Victorians for embracing new challenges, contributing their ideas and representing the school with confidence, curiosity and a strong regional spirit. Well done!

✨ VS150: A Night to Remember ✨
On 24 July 2026, more than 1,000 alumni, staff and members of the Victorian community came together for the Victoria School 150th Anniversary Dinner—a memorable celebration of shared history, lifelong friendships and the enduring Victorian spirit.
We were deeply honoured to welcome President Tharman Shanmugaratnam as our Guest-of-Honour. In his address, President Tharman reflected that Victoria School’s most valuable contribution lies not only in nurturing distinguished leaders, but also in developing generations of young Singaporeans who look beyond themselves and serve others and society, the character education that our nation needs.
As we commemorate this historic milestone, we are also delighted to share two special anniversary publications:

340 Victorians. One unforgettable night. One incredible final. ⚽🏆
From catching a few hours of sleep before kick-off to cheering every goal together in the Auditorium, our inaugural Victoria School World Cup Watch Party was an unforgettable experience! Proposed by our Year 4 students, the event brought together Victorians from all levels for a night filled with excitement, friendship and school spirit.
A heartfelt thank you to the Old Victorians' Association (OVA) for treating everyone to McMuffins and Ice Milo after the match—a perfect way to wrap up an amazing night before heading off to lessons!
More than just football, the watch party reminded us of what it means to be part of the Victoria family: coming together, supporting one another and creating memories that will last a lifetime.
Well done to everyone who made this event such a resounding success! 💙💛

Victorians past and present as well as staff members - thank you for showing up day after day, clocking the distances as we go about Running, Reigniting and Reuniting through this one Victorian experience.
Without our amazing individual and collective efforts, we would not have been able to create this piece of history in our 150th year. Thank you everyone!
As we proceed to submit our record breaking attempt to The Singapore Book of Records for ratification, here's a reminder that 'Nil Sine Labore' rings true in every step we took and every kilometer we clocked.
See you at the VS150 Dinner on 24 July 2026!
