Book Character cm Children’s Day Celebration🎩🐱📚🎉
We had our very first Book Character cm Children’s Day Celebration, and it was truly a wonderful new experience for the children. Each child brought along a favourite book to read and share, sparking curiosity and a love for stories.
As part of the celebration, the children had fun recreating “The Cat in the Hat” cookery activity, bringing a storybook classic to life through hands-on learning. We were also delighted to have a parent volunteer join us for an engaging storytelling session, making the day even more special.
It was a meaningful celebration filled with imagination, creativity, and joy, reminding us all of the magic found within books and the joy of learning together. 📚🎉

As part of our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) project in partnership with Mandai Wildlife, we organised a meaningful fundraising event to raise funds in support of animal conservation.
With our focus on the smooth-coated otters, our creative teachers and children came together to design a series of otter-themed activity stations, including a juice bar, face painting corner, organic scented soaps, and Florentine bars. The event was filled with excitement, laughter, and a shared sense of purpose.
We are deeply grateful for the overwhelming support from our families and community. Through this project, we hope to continue inspiring greater awareness and understanding of the importance of contributing to Mandai Wildlife’s initiative to protect and save animals around the world. 🌿💚

Teacher's Day Celebration Y2025!
This year’s Teacher’s Day celebration was beautifully set around a floral theme. The morning was filled with joy as our Kindergarten children surprised their teachers with a delightful dance performance, bringing smiles and laughter all around.
Teachers were treated to a thoughtful spread of flowers, tea, and pastries, creating a cozy atmosphere to enjoy the show. The celebration became even more meaningful when a parent volunteer joined us to conduct an engaging sharing session. Together, teachers and children learned to create lovely origami art, adding a creative and hands-on touch to the day.
We are truly thankful for the effort and warmth of our parent volunteer, our enthusiastic children, and everyone who contributed to making this Teacher’s Day a heartfelt and memorable one. 🌸

As part of the Start Small Dream Big project, parents and children came together to design an online e-book titled Saving the 'Smooth-Coated Otters'. This meaningful collaboration gave families the opportunity to learn, create, and advocate for otter conservation as a team.
Through this shared experience, they discovered how small actions can create big impacts in protecting our environment and its precious wildlife. We hope this e-book inspires you to care, share, and take action — because together, we can make a difference!

Last week, a Chinese parent workshop was successfully conducted on the topic of Children's Emotional Management. During the session, the Chinese teachers addressed common emotional challenges faced by both children and parents, and shared practical strategies to help children better understand and regulate their emotions.
It was an engaging and meaningful session where parents not only gained valuable insights, but also had the opportunity to connect with other parents. The open discussions created a supportive environment for sharing experiences and exploring effective approaches to emotional management at home.
We would like to thank all participants for attending the workshop!

Exploring Vegetables Through Technology and Purposeful Play
As part of our ongoing focus on integrating technology meaningfully into the classroom, the Kindergarten Two children took part in a hands-on, tech-supported lesson about vegetables and their growth.
The children were encouraged to bring vegetables from home, which sparked curiosity and personal connections to the topic. Using their five senses, the children explored the textures, colors, and shapes of the vegetables.
To deepen their understanding, the class used the computer to view pictures of the different stages of vegetable growth—from seed to sprout to harvest. This purposeful use of technology helped reinforce key concepts in a visual and interactive way, making the learning more accessible and engaging.
By combining real-world exploration with digital learning tools, the children developed not only their knowledge of vegetables and plant life cycles but also important digital literacy skills, all within a playful and meaningful context.

SG60 National Day Celebration 🇸🇬
This year, we commemorated Singapore’s 60th birthday with a vibrant celebration filled with fun, learning, and togetherness! Dressed proudly in red and white, both the children and staff came together to honour our nation through a series of interactive activities that highlighted Singapore’s rich culture and heritage.
The highlight of the day was the Singapore Scavenger Hunt, where children eagerly explored their surroundings to spot pictures of iconic local dishes, landmarks, and uniquely Singaporean symbols. Their curiosity and enthusiasm made the hunt an exciting adventure!
The children also worked together on a Singapore-themed jigsaw puzzle, while deepening their understanding of the nation’s landmarks and history. To round off the immersive experience, they participated in a food tasting session, where they sampled a variety of beloved local dishes — a tasty way to appreciate Singapore's multicultural identity.
The day concluded with a lively Singapore Quiz, where both parents and children tested their knowledge about the country’s history, culture, and achievements. It was a meaningful way to wrap up a day of celebration, connection, and national pride.
Happy 60th Birthday, Singapore! Majulah Singapura! 🎉🇸🇬
