In our final morning session, students visited Psychological Services International (PSI) and sat down with therapist Daniel Boyd for a raw, real look at life in mental health care.

Today, our students explored the fascinating intersection of retail development and cutting-edge financial innovation!

Icon Siam Tour 🛍️
Students visited Icon Siam, one of Bangkok's most renowned shopping malls. The Head of Marketing and Commercial department provided a comprehensive tour, offering a deeper understanding of diverse service offerings in the retail industry and the intricate considerations involved in developing and operating a large-scale shopping mall.

From Wall Street Investment Banking to Crypto in Asia with Mr. Henry Byun 💰
Mr. Henry Byun led an insightful masterclass on the evolving world of cryptocurrency, explaining it as "internet-native money" and exploring the groundbreaking concept of blockchain as a decentralized, transparent, and immutable ledger. Discussion covered Bitcoin's applications in payments, DeFi, NFTs, and DAOs, alongside market valuation. Beyond crypto, students grasped essential investing basics, including "opportunity cost," the importance of having an "edge," and the power of compounding in long-term investment.

💬 Inside Med School + The Power of Rehab Medicine

Day 4 brought students face-to-face with the real-life journey of medical students and the lesser-known but powerful world of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R). From hands-on history-taking to public hospital realities, it was a day of deep perspective and purpose. 🩺🌱

Morning Session: 1st Year Med School Feels
With Ms. Suan Hwee (1st-year med student, Monash University), students explored:

- What it really takes to pursue medicine
- The power of resilience, purpose, and mental balance
- Application insights: UCAT, ISAT, BMAT + undergrad vs grad pathways
- Debunking med school myths (yes, there’s still time for life!)

🔄 Interactive Roleplay: Medical History-Taking
Students practiced real-time patient interviews with Suan, learning how:
- Empathy + active listening build patient trust
- Small details can reveal life-saving clues

Afternoon Session 1: Rehab Medicine with Dr. Jet
Founder of Agile Clinic and PM&R specialist, Dr. Jet opened students' eyes to:
- The role of movement, function, and recovery in medicine
- How PM&R blends diagnosis, therapy, tech, and empathy
- How posture + activity = prevention for long-term health

Afternoon Session 2: Public Healthcare Hospital
Students toured Thammasat University Hospital, seeing:
- The realities of public care—long queues, high patient load
- Classroom and ward tours with current interns & externs
