In my several years interacting with armor and diorama modelers, the biggest challenge and obstacle confronting them is their ability to achieve good results in figure painting. It is therefore no surprise that I have always been asked about my techniques and methods. Often I would tell them to refer to several publications or delve into a lengthy explanation and more recently to acquire my instructional DVD. However, come November 25, the kind folks at Miniature Art Studio have arranged a one-full day event for me to conduct a hands on workshop on basic hand painting techniques using friendly and easy to use acrylic paints to render a 1/35 scale figure.
Participants will have an opportunity to witness my painting techniques first hand and seek critique on their work. Sign up now, as places are limited.
