Time is running out for this university theatre CCA. With only two weeks to show day, the members still cannot reconcile their differences over the script. โ€œLao Jiuโ€, Kuo Pao Kunโ€™s coming-of-age story about a ninth-born sonโ€™s struggle between duty and dreams, has stirred a heated debate amongst the cast. In this unique, meta-theatrical adaptation of โ€œLao Jiuโ€, NUS Stage weaves in original playlets and tackles the bad, the beautiful, and the ugly parts of chasing oneโ€™s dreams.
