Leading semiconductor manufacturer GLOBALFOUNDRIES announced today that it will invest more than S$5B in a new fab in Singapore.

The fab will expand GLOBALFOUNDRIES’ wafer manufacturing capacity amidst the rise in global demand for semiconductors and create 1,000 job opportunities here, for roles including technicians and engineers.
