How do our young children learn to love their country?

Not simply by knowing the flag, singing the National Anthem or celebrating National Day — but by developing a sense of belonging.

When a child proudly draws the Merlion, the Singapore flag and the places she recognises, she is expressing something deeper:

“This is my home. This is where I belong.” 🇸🇬

Patriotism in the early years is not about teaching big words. It is about nurturing gratitude, respect, responsibility and love for the community around us.

From these little hands and little hearts, we nurture the next generation of Singaporeans who will one day contribute to the country they proudly call HOME.

Parent-Teacher Meetings are much more than a conversation about a child's progress. They are a reminder that it takes a village to help a child thrive.

For our children, it means seeing the important adults in their lives working together with love, consistency and care.

For parents, it is an opportunity to celebrate growth, understand challenges, ask questions and partner with teachers in supporting their child's journey both at school and at home.

For teachers, it is a chance to share not only learning milestones, but also the little moments that reveal who each child truly is—their strengths, interests, friendships, confidence and areas where they need encouragement.

For our non-teaching team, who prepare classrooms, maintain a safe environment, support daily operations and welcome every family with warmth, it is a reminder that every role matters. A child's experience is shaped not only by the classroom teacher, but by every adult they meet each day.

We were delighted to welcome a wonderful group of educators from Thailand to Red SchoolHouse for a meaningful cross-country learning experience.

We are proud to share our expertise and to support fellow educators in their journey of excellence. Seeing passionate teachers come together across countries reminds us that education has the power to connect, inspire, and transform lives.

We look forward to building stronger partnerships as we continue making a positive impact on children, educators, and communities across the region.

Past two days were more than just staff training, they were about building stronger relationships and becoming a better team for the children and families we serve.

Day 1 - through meaningful conversations and reflective activities, we discover stories that often remain unspoken and knew one another beyond our job titles .
Day 2 - through a series of engaging problem-solving activities and team building, we learn to think, communicate and collaborate differently.

We strengthened our essential workplace skills like building trust, clear and effective communication, resource management and continuous improvement.
There were many moments of laughter, healthy debates, unexpected solutions and valuable lessons. We experienced firsthand that the best outcomes are achieved when every voice is heard.

It was a privilege to meet with parents and share why we are so optimistic about bringing the Red SchoolHouse Singapore curriculum to India.
For over 22 years, we have believed that the strongest foundation for learning begins with relationships, curiosity, and joyful discovery.
Parents in Bengaluru share the same dream as parents everywhere—to raise confident, kind, resilient children who love learning. Together, we explored how our relationship-centred approach nurtures not only academic readiness, but also creativity, communication, collaboration, and emotional well-being.
This is more than expanding a preschool. It is about building a community where children are seen, heard, and inspired to become their very best.

The JOY of welcoming back our ex students. There is nothing quite like seeing familiar faces walk through our doors again - this time as volunteers, mentors and role models for our little learners.

Little Hands, BIG HEALTHY HABITS !!
Our little preschoolers are becoming hand-washing champions as they follow the 8 easy hand washing steps every day ! From palms to fingers and thumbs to wrists, learning healthy habits can be fun and meaningful too because at Red SchoolHouse, we believe that small routines build big life skills :)

Today's game may look simple..but behind every activity is a child learning how to think independently and make sense of the world around them. Because learning through joy creates deeper understanding that lasts far beyond the classroom.
