This highly popular session runs on 19th June from 3.30pm to 4.30pm. Children aged between 18 months to 24 months old are invited to experience a taste of our unhurried programme in our uniquely-curated outdoor environments.

This year, we came together to celebrate Earth Day - a day to commemorate our home planet, and advocate for the care and protection of it.

In preparation, educators and children engaged in deep dialogues to unpack the significance of this day. These inquiries came to life through sensorial experiences as children explored a variety of materials, shapes, and textures, deepening their awareness of Earth’s unique characteristics.

Our celebration day brought the whole community together. From a sun-filled beach clean-up at the well-loved East Coast Park to creative campus-based explorations, families and educators bonded over a shared experience. It was a powerful reminder of the strength of our community and our collective gratitude for the world we share.

Across our Blue House campuses, we unpacked and explored the key elements and significance of this cultural celebration with our children - offering experiences within our environments that invited children to engage their senses and curiousity, and where they could revisit processes that required their attentiveness and time.

These experiences were further enriched by the shared participation with their peers as they co-constructed meaning through dialogue, observation, and collaboration. We extend our warmest wishes to all who observe and celebrate this special occasion within this month, and may it continue to be filled with peace, love, and connection throughout!
