We were so happy to see Alumni back on campus in the week prior to the Class of 2022 graduation. and came to speak to the graduating class at their Alumni lunch.
This is a taste of their sound advice to the newest Alumni.
Congratulations on making it to graduation, you did it!
Take a moment to digest that the last twelve years have all been leading
up to this week.
1. Always trust your gut. You know yourself better than anyone else, so trust your judgment.
2. Rely on your family as much as you can now because soon you are on your own. Don't forget to call them often!
3. Don’t feel like you have to have it all figured out, trust us, we graduated in the at the peak of the pandemic and nobody knew what was going on.
4. Humble yourselves because you’re now
at the bottom of the food chain as freshmen.
5. Give everything some time. There will be times where it’s really hard but trust the process and know that the bad days make the good days that much more worth it. 100 bad days make for 100 good stories!
We’re so excited for you to start a new chapter in your lives. With that being
said, keep this community in your lives and remember the unique experience you
guys have shared at Stamford. If it weren’t for this Stamford community, we wouldn’t be where we are today and have such strong friendships with each other.
You have made it this far through such harsh and unprecedented times, which allows us to say with certainty that you will all continue to achieve more than you believe you can.
Once again, a huge congratulations to the class of 2022, you should be really
proud.
Remember, once a lion, always a lion.
