Science Holiday Workshop - Discover how energy drives our modern life and our dependency on it. Students will learn the concepts behind electricity. Through experiments, children will learn how Earth's forces can turn on us if climate change is left unchecked. They will discover alternative renewable sources of energy that can help us in the modern world. Each child will get to bring home a robot that they have built from a kit.

Creative Writing Year Holiday Workshop -
Help your children to discover the writers within them ✍🏼 They will build their vocabulary and learn to use them in compound sentences. They will also learn to vividly describe the world around them and even bring alive their imagination with words.

This year, we have planned a series of interesting holiday workshop to enrich your year end holidays. The first one in the series is “Code Your Own Game” 👩🏻‍💻👨🏻‍💻 Give your child a digital headstart by introducing them to the world of coding. Children will be introduced to the fundamentals of coding and begin to learn certain common syntax. Have fun back at home with the family as your child shares with you the games that he/she has developed in this program through the use of Scratch.

Did you know that simply praising your child can actually do more harm than good? Constant compliments can actually erode self-esteem. Children will think that they are perfect or try to be perfect, setting an impossible standard for themselves. Inaccurate praises also confuses them. Hence the upcoming Parents Workshop focuses on how you can help your child become aware of their strengths. They can then value their abilities and be proud of what they can do. When children are confident and secure about who they are, they’re more likely to have a growth mindset. That means they can motivate themselves to take on new challenges and cope with and learn from mistakes.
