Djembe Singapore

be known as Tam Tam Mandingue Singapore, a branch of his international school of West African drumming and percussion. In taking the values of communal drumming and relationship building through music-making further, the djembe school transform itself to the current club establishment where progressive learning and all-accessible classes integrate harmoniously to provide the most enriching drum and dance experience.

A community of drum enthusiasts in Singapore from all ages and walks of life who enjoy playing and learning traditional African rhythms on the goblet-shaped drum from West Africa call Djembe.

We meet weekly in classes to drum, to learn, to share, to aspire and to experience enriching fun that bring values to relationship built among us through drumming.

- What we believe in:
Through playing djembe, we learn the importance of tradition in any music, we constantly remember that respect and patience are the fundamental traits in improving at anything, and the only way to creating beautiful music is treasuring relationships with the people we drum with.
