The annual Hong Wen Superstar and virtual Sports Challenge are back!

This year, we are inviting all students and their family to participate in our first Hong Wen Virtual Choir to sing a newly composed song by the music teachers, "Hello, how are you?". This song is written to celebrate Singapore and her neighbouring countries.

Don't forget to do some simple exercises at home during the March holidays by following the videos created by the PE teachers.

INSPIRING TEACHER OF ENGLISH AWARD 2022

Let’s nominate our English teachers who choose appropriate pedagogies for the different needs, interest and profile of our students and promote learning-focused interaction during English lessons.

宏文学校联合校友会举办的2022年全国小学生挥春比赛一共吸引了约527人报名参赛。由衷感谢各校学生踊跃参赛，在此恭喜所有得奖者！

On Monday, we held our Prefects and Student Leaders Investiture. Our Prefects took their oath with pride, pledging to uphold the school motto and values to serve the school.

Thereafter, our student and teacher representatives took the Athletes', Officials' and Coaches’ Oath in preparation for the National School Games.

Our pupils and teachers were filled with enthusiasm as they attended their first face-to-face CCA session after more than a year!

The physical interaction and resumption of in-person CCAs will help to enrich our students' holistic experience in school. Through CCAs, students learn to demonstrate responsibility, respect, resilience, compassion and excellence.

On 14 February 2022, Hong Wen students commemorated Total Defence Day. The students recollected the reasons we commemorate Total Defence Day, and challenged themselves to a quiz on the 6 pillars of Total Defence. All levels of students also got a taste of the hardships experienced by our forefathers with our annual Porridge-eating exercise.

在欢庆农历新年时，大家也不忘在新春红包筹款活动中献出一份爱心！

虎虎生风庆新年🐯🍊

在除夕庆祝当日，我校师生一起欢庆迎新年，全校学生参与画虎迎新，老虎着色、剪立体“吉”、“春”等字以及“黄梨塔”、“小老虎”粘土制作。大家在充满新年的氛围下，共度了愉快的新年。

为了迎接虎年的到来，学校在各个角落贴上了各种各样的新年装饰品，为校园增添了浓厚的新年气氛。三至六年级的学生也参加了新年课室布置比赛，同学们发挥创意，将课室布置得喜气洋洋。

To welcome the Year of the Tiger, our school has been adorned with a vast array of beautiful Lunar New Year decorations. To ring in the festivities, our P3-P6 pupils worked tirelessly together in decorating their class for the Lunar New Year Class Decoration Competition and they have done an amazing job!

Our staff bonded through a Chinese Painting activity last Friday afternoon to welcome the Year of the Tiger. It was a memorable experience as everyone had a "tiggerific" time!
