📢We are thrilled to introduce Jun Yan, Senior Data Scientist at WeChat, as q guest speaker at the Singapore FutureTech Summit 2024, organized by our partner BestTop Consulting!

Jun Yan is a Senior Data Scientist at WeChat, where he oversees data governance and compliance, and establishes foundational data metrics frameworks. In addition, he leads content safety projects, developing advanced models to identify non-compliant images and text on the platform, such as child po*******hy and graphic violence. Jun Yan also utilizes data analytics to enhance the user experience for legitimate users.

Prior to joining WeChat, Jun Yan served as a Senior Data Scientist at TikTok, optimizing app functions and user experience. At Envision Digital, he developed end-to-end AI solutions for the energy market. During his tenure at Lazada Group, Jun Yan deployed real-time online prediction services and recommendation systems, significantly improving customer satisfaction and conversion rates.

With extensive experience in data science and AI, Jun Yan will share insights on his work at WeChat and the application of AI technology in content safety, data governance, and user experience enhancement at the AI & Data Insights Summit.

📢Introducing our guest speaker for Singapore FutureTech Summit 2024, Dean Wang!

Dean Wang is the Chief Data Scientist of DataRobot APAC, a company that provides an AI-powered enterprise platform for data science and operations. As a leader at DataRobot, Dean brings a wealth of experience in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning, as well as a deep understanding of how to leverage these technologies to help organizations solve complex business problems. With a strong background in both academia and industry, Dean is well-equipped to help DataRobot’s clients succeed in their data-driven endeavors and stay at the forefront of innovation in the field of AI.

Dean obtained his Ph.D. in operation research at NTU and has worked for Google, McKinsey, SAP, and Apple as a data scientist before joining DataRobot. He was part of the data science research team that helped the German Football team to compete and win World Cup 2014 (and left before 2018 and 2022, when they are knocked out at group stage).
