Usage:
Very intelligent people tend to come up with the same ideas at the same time. Used to commend someone for expressing the same thing you were thinking of; implies that you are congratulating that person for being as smart as you are.
聪明有智慧的人的见解基本相同，这是对意见相同的双方表示赞美的话。

Example:
Tommy: Let's set up a tuition centre in Singapore. It’s a lucrative business as most students in Singapore attend tuition classes.
Mary: I was just thinking we should do that, too.

Usage:
Literally: If you don't enter the tiger's den, how will you get the tiger's cub?
Meaning: If you do not take risks, you will never accomplish anything.
不冒危险，就不能获得成功。

Examples:
We tried to make television programmes that were new and different, and we weren't always successful, but nothing ventured, nothing gained.
我们尝试制作别出心裁的电视节目，虽然我们不是每次都成功，但是不入虎穴，焉得虎子。

Once bitten, twice shy

Usage:
Someone who has been hurt or who has had something go wrong will be afraid to try it again or far more careful to avoid similar experiences in the future.比喻遭遇一次伤害以后就害怕遇到同样或类似的事或者会更小心避免经历同样或类似的事。

Examples:
Tom: Why won't you lend him any money?
Mary: I lend him money before and he never paid me back. Once bitten, twice shy.
汤母：为什么你不借钱给他？
玛丽：我曾经借钱给他，可是他没还我。一朝被蛇咬，十年怕井绳。

After Tom left her she refused to go out with anyone else for a long time - once bitten, twice shy, I suppose.
