5 Steps Academy has been approved by the University of Cambridge as a Cambridge International School to offer the world-leading Cambridge Pathway curriculum to its students in addition to the US curriculum.

Christine Özden, Chief Executive of Cambridge Assessment International Education, said: “We are delighted to announce that 5 Steps Academy has joined our global community of Cambridge schools and we look forward to a long and productive relationship with them. Cambridge programmes help students get ready for the world, equipping them with the skills they need to achieve at school, university and work.”

The four stages of the Cambridge Pathway give students a clear path for educational success, leading seamlessly from primary to secondary and pre-university years. Each stage combines a world-class curriculum, high-quality support for teachers and integrated assessment, including Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge International AS & A Level qualifications which are recognised by universities worldwide.

Dr Alex Kuznetsov, Headmaster of 5 Steps Academy, said: “At 5 Steps Academy, we have been developing our proprietary accelerated teaching methodology for years. Now that we established such a great educational partnership with the University of Cambridge, have been granted access to tons of world-class resources for teachers and can administer IGCSE and A-level examinations right on the school campus, we will be able to bring our students educational experience and results to the next level.”

5 Steps Academy is a US College Board approved K-12 school entitled to administer SAT and AP tests. With the Cambridge Assessment International Education approval, 5 Steps Academy is probably the only school in Singapore offering both US and UK curriculum and administering both SAT-AP and IGCSE-A-level examinations.
