The 50th Company commemorated Boys’ Brigade Day in the Arena of Gan Eng Seng School for the first time since Covid-19 on 13 Jan 2023. A full parade was conducted with the company colours and a march-past inspected by our Principal, Ms Tan. SSG Jordan Yap (Class 4-5) served as the parade commander, SSG Suhail (Class 4-3) led the contingent and the colours bearer was SSG Cyrus (Class 4-2). The 50th Company will continue to prepare all boys for the future through a fun and holistic curriculum, which develops boys to be leaders and foster meaningful friendship.

Gessians have done us proud again with GCE ‘O’ level results worthy of celebrations. All subjects have significant value added results, thanks to the hard work of students, parents, IP and non-IP departments. It takes a whole village to bring out the best in our students. Heartiest congratulations to our 2022 cohort of 4Exp/5NA Gessians. Onward!!!

The sec 1 cohort has successfully completed the 2 Day non- residential camp. Thanks to the SL committee, SAC and student leaders, the Sec 1 students had a great time of bonding and getting to know what it means to be a Gessian. Some precious moments for you.

Our Sec 4NA and 4NT students received their GCE N-Level results yesterday. GESS is happy to announce that this cohort did us proud too. Thank you teachers for guiding our students well and thank you Gessians for doing your personal best! Embrace our school motto 'ONWARD' in your next phase of education.

School holidays are here but Gessians still continue to serve the community. We have completed yet another partnership project with NTUC Fairprice- Share a Textbook project. Sincere appreciation to Mr Farid and to our teachers for role modeling the spirit of volunteerism, to CCA groups and individual volunteer students for assisting in this project. You have helped many families! Onward!

The last event for the year- GESS Graduation Nite. With the theme of glam, it was all glitters and colours yesterday. Thank you PTA and thank you Eileen for giving Gessians a very meaningful graduation Nite. Thank you Gessosa and Teachers for your unwavering support! Here are some precious moments!!!

Learning journey to JP Morgan and NCS Data Centre for staff to better understand the world of work and the skill set required for our students when they join the workforce. What an eye opener for our Teachers! We learnt how important cross cultural understanding and communication skills are and that having the right attitude and embracing life long learning are essential for the future workforce.

GESS received a token of appreciation from NTUC for our partnership with them in the Share a Textbook project. This is our 9th year of partnership with NTUC.

Congratulations to Jarod Ng Yujie of class 3-1 for attaining a Silver award for the Animation and Game-Making Competition 2022 organised by MOE CPDD. We are proud that Jarod has created a very interesting multi-level game about space exploration, using Scratch 3 platform, based on this year's competition theme, Technology.
