🌈 Autism Awareness Workshop (Part 1) 🌈

We recently came together for a meaningful collaboration between InSchool and Brave Feats Student Care to help children better understand autism and the importance of inclusion.

As part of the programme, Speech Therapist Isabel Tromans from Into The Neuroverse and caregiver advocate Farah Juwita led an engaging session exploring how everyone’s brain works differently. Through interactive activities, discussions, and real-life stories, the children learned how to better understand, support, and include friends who may think, learn, or communicate in different ways.

Farah also shared stories about her teenage son, Ilhan, giving the children a heartfelt glimpse into his world and helping them build empathy through lived experiences.

A heartfelt thank you to Isabel and Farah for leading such an engaging session.

This was just the beginning of a day centred on learning, connection, and inclusion. πŸ’œ
