Our students may have been on their semester break, but learning never stops at Dynamics International School!

One of the things that makes DIS unique is our integrated, multidisciplinary team. Every day, our teachers and therapists work under the same roof, learning from one another to provide the best possible support for every student.

Last week, as part of our collaborative culture, our Occupational Therapy and ABA Therapy teams led a series of engaging professional development sessions for our teachers. Through hands-on activities, classroom scenarios, and thoughtful discussions, they explored self-regulation, sensory processing, and behaviour.

It was a week filled with candid conversations, fresh perspectives, and plenty of laughter as our teachers gained practical, evidence-based strategies they can carry straight into their classrooms!

Summer's over, but we're still smiling. ☀️🌱

School may have been out, but the learning certainly wasn't! Every Monday during our six-week Summer Camp, our students got their hands dirty (literally!) as they explored the wonders of nature through interactive workshops by Majulah Green. From feeding the resident chicken, Happy, to growing their own microgreens, every activity helped them connect with nature, understand where food comes from, and learn how even small actions can care for our environment.

A huge thank you to Mr. Najib from Majulah Green for nurturing curiosity and inspiring our young learners through such meaningful, hands-on experiences!

What better way to wrap up the semester than a field trip! 🎉

Last Friday, we brought our students to J.I.A.K 99, the wonderful hawker heritage and edutainment experience at the Singapore Flyer.

Besides exploring daily life in Singapore’s early years through a guided tour, students had the chance to interactively discover Singapore's rich culinary culture through hands-on activities.

See the smiles on their faces as they made colourful sand art and traditional flower garland bracelets, connecting them with Singapore's past while developing their creativity and fine motor skills.

Last Tuesday, we welcomed students from Reneva Academy as part of our new student collaboration initiative, "Beyond Boundaries". This initiative provides opportunities for our students to build positive relationships with their peers in a guided, supportive environment.

As you can see, the kids had lots of fun making artworks, playing movement games, and tackling cooperative tasks with their new friends! 🎨🤝

We had the best time at our first ever Global Parents' Day engagement session! 💛

Last Friday, we welcomed our families to connect and learn how to better support their children at home. Informative talks from Teacher Alesha and OT Kalai on brain science and sensory processing opened up important conversations around children’s needs, and helped to reaffirm what all parents already know: that despite the challenges, every child just wants to be the best for their Mummy and Daddy. 😊

We wrapped up the session with a special activity where our students got to create their very own time capsules — letters to their future selves not to be opened until 2031 — together with their parents! It was great seeing the children laughing and learning alongside their loved ones. A huge thank you to every parent who showed up, listened with an open heart, and helped make the session a meaningful one. Your presence, encouragement, and commitment make all the difference. ❤️
