[GooeyGRAM Phonics Fun: for ages 3 to 5]

We explored Chinese New Year traditions while building our language and literacy skills through the /d/ sound — just like drum and dragon!

Through hands-on fun, we:
🔤 Practiced identifying beginning /d/ sounds
✏️ Strengthened pre-writing and tracing skills
📖 Connected sounds to words through storytelling
✉️ Created festive cards and tried writing simple New Year greetings
🍊 Reinforced letter recognition with a mandarin orange matching activity
