Movement before and after birth shapes everything that follows: how a child learns, how they regulate their emotions, how they respond to stress, to touch, to sound, and to the people around them. The foundations are laid through movement, long before any formal learning begins.
RMTi Making Connections is a two-day foundation programme built around exactly this. It looks at how movement in the earliest stages of life builds the neural connections the brain relies on, and how rhythmic developmental movements can support brain maturity in children and adults who missed some of those foundations along the way.
We are delighted to welcome Phoebe Long as our invited instructor for this round. Phoebe is a Professional Kinesiologist, and having her lead the two days is a real opportunity to learn this work directly from an experienced practitioner.
The course is practical, experiential and evidence-informed. You will leave with a working understanding of reflex integration, developmental movement patterns, and how to put this knowledge to use with the children and adults you support.
It is open to everyone, with no prerequisites and no prior training required. All you need is a genuine interest in learning, development and the body.
Who it’s for:
▫️ Parents who want to understand their child’s nervous system more deeply
▫️ Educators looking for tools that go beyond behaviour management
▫️ Therapists, counsellors and allied health professionals who want to add a somatic, movement-based layer to their existing practice.
