Coming to the end of the exam season will be the start of our After Action Review season. Here at Schoolwerks, our team of teachers is delighted when students score well on their exams. There are quite a substantial number of students who scored fairly well in this exam but we want to point out one student in particular - David, a Secondary 4 student taking E Math and Physics with Schoolwerks.

In the last 4 years, he has always been consistent in scoring close to full marks for E Math. But Physics is one that made him doubt his capabilities. Finally, after putting in his hard work, he managed to score well and we can even feel his happiness contained in the message that he had sent to us. 🙇‍♂️

But of course, for students whose score did not meet their expectations, be prepared to have your supplementary classes this holiday 😈

Enrollment for Secondary 1 2024 classes in Schoolwerks!

Are Secondary 1 results important? After battling for the whole year in Primary 6, parents will want to give their child a break and have no additional classes to keep track of their child's academics in Secondary 1. But what are we actually preparing for?

Express students (G3) will have to undergo streaming at the end of Secondary 2 and choosing the right subject combination is critical for their future educational path.

Target: 75% for Math and Science
Purpose: ACHIEVE subject combination in Pure Sciences & Additional Math

Normal Academic & Technical students, G2 and G1 respectively, have a lot more to battle it out in Secondary 1. They have a chance to do well and be promoted to the next higher stream.

Zhi Yi came to Schoolwerks not doing too well averaging only 40%-50%. Through her hard work and perseverance in clearing her doubts in class, she made a vast improvement jumping from D7 to A2. A lot can be done better but at least, it is a good start for Secondary 3.
