Good news, G2 and G1 Computing will be offered in secondary schools starting next year, alongside the existing G3 Computing!

We’re happy to announce a H2 Computing JC1 crash course for the upcoming March holidays. These classes will be focused on Basic Python practical and serves to prepare students with a good foundation for the rest of the JC1 Computing syllabus.

Day 1 - 18 Mar 2025 (Tue) 4.00pm-7.00pm (Basic Python I/O, For loops, If/Else)

Day 2 - 19 Mar 2025 (Wed) 10.30am-1.30pm (While loops, Strings and List, basic Functions)

Each lesson is 3 hours long. There will be short breaks given every hour.

Fees: $320

We’re happy to announce a series of H2 Computing crash courses for the upcoming September holidays. These classes will be focused on practical and serves to prepare students for the A Level practical exam in October.

There will be a similar series of crash courses arranged for theory, nearer to the A Level theory paper in November. Details for this will be announced later.

These classes are open to all, whether you are an existing student of Loshberry Computing or not. Existing students may find some content overlaps with the content that’s already been covered in past lessons.

Crash Course 1 - 2 Sep 2024 (Mon) 11am-2.45pm - General Python (basic python, common algorithms, common libraries e.g. datetime & random, recursion, file reading/writing)

Crash Course 2 - 3 Sep 2024 (Tue) 11am-2.45pm - OOP and Data Structures (Linked List, BST)

Crash Course 3 - 4 Sep 2024 (Wed) 11am-2.45pm - Web App & SQL

Each course is 3 hours long (11am-12.30pm, 45 min lunch, 1.15pm-2.45pm). Lunch is *not* included in fees, at own expense.

We're happy to share that our Founding Tutor, Ms Tay, has been featured on Lianhe Zaobao 联合早报 last Sunday (22 May 2022)!

In this in-depth article on coding education in Singapore, she shared her opinions and observations of the coding & computing education scene in Singapore over the past few years, and how computing is a multidisciplinary field that can be greatly enhanced by students' exposure to other school subjects. She also shared about the current trends in the industry, for both young and adult learners.
