Verily, All Praises be to Allah. (In syaa Allah). Say (O Muhammad): "If you (really) love Allah then follow me (i.e. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful."

يُرِيدُونَ لِيُطْفِئُوا نُورَ اللَّهِ بِأَفْوَاهِهِمْ وَاللَّهُ مُتِمُّ نُورِهِ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ
They intend to put out the Light of Allah (i.e. the religion of Islam, this Quran, and Prophet Muhammad SAW) with their mouths. But Allah will complete His Light even though the disbelievers hate (it).
Qur'an - Surah 61, Verse 8
Think of at least a sin that you did, and sincerely repent to Allah. Promise yourself that you won't do it ever again.
Now open your mushaf, go to Surah Ali-'Imran (Chapter 3), Verse 135 and 136 and look what Allah has promised for the sincere repenters.
