One of my favourite approaches to improving my Feng Shui accuracy is to go down onsite and understand the actual surroundings.

Sometimes it can be challenging, but that is also what makes it exciting.

Here is something interesting for fellow learners and practitioners who are still learning and growing, just like me.

Block 34 Whampoa West is widely known as Singapore’s longest HDB block with a fully continuous common corridor. It spans approximately 311 to 320 metres, and can take almost four minutes to walk from one end of a floor to the other.

So here are a few questions to think about:

1. How would you determine the facing of this building?
2. Would you use the window, door, or the block itself as the facing?
3. Which Feng Shui system would you apply?
4. How accurate would your analysis be?

This could be an interesting case study to think about or even discuss with your masters.

New launch house selection is always one of my favourite Feng Shui services. It is exciting, time-sensitive, and every unit chosen feels like the beginning of a new journey.

I was in Malaysia last week to finally see the completed home we selected 2.5 years ago, back when the development had not even been built.

It was such a rewarding moment to step inside the actual unit after all this time. Now that my client has collected the keys, we are moving on to the next stage of planning the interior and Feng Shui setup.

Looking forward to seeing this house slowly transform into a beautiful home for my client.

Back at one of my favourite schools for some upgrading and learning. It has been a while since I was last here, and it feels wonderful to be a student again!

I was ready to head off, but with all the cars stuck in the ultra-jammed car park, I decided to take the opportunity to walk around and explore the school’s Feng Shui once again.

It is heartwarming to see the whole place still so lively and bustling, with people of all ages coming together to learn and grow. 💪🏻

After months of searching, we finally found a home that truly empowers my client and, most importantly, one he genuinely loves.

I’m very happy for him and grateful for the trust throughout this journey.

We are now moving into the next stage, the internal Comprehensive Feng Shui setup, to help the home fully support his long term growth, stability and happiness.

Some houses don’t need to be fixed.

Many people focus too much on the internal Flying Star chart, but true Feng Shui starts from the external environment first.

The surrounding landform, road structure, neighbouring buildings, and how the house receives and contains qi will always determine the real quality and potential of the property.

There is a Chinese saying,
“峦头不真，理气无用”

It means if the landform is not right, then internal qi calculations alone do not tell the full story.

Only when the external environment is properly understood, then we know how to tap on the qi of the house, where its strengths are, where its weaknesses are, and what must be managed first.

This allows us to identify the root of the issues, so the right Feng Shui adjustments can be applied to mitigate weaknesses, strengthen the house’s support, and bring out its maximum potential.

That is why a proper Feng Shui assessment should always start from the outside in.

The external environment sets the foundation.
