I am excited to announce that I have recently received one more teaching certificate and I am eager to put my new skills and knowledge into practice.

I have learned about the latest educational trends and techniques in teaching Russian as a second language, and I am now better equipped to meet the needs of my students. I have also gained valuable experience in creating effective lesson plans and assessment strategies, as well as in classroom management and communication with colleagues.

My workshop in Singapore on developing the conversational skills.

Here’re some points that we’ve discussed.

✅ Don’t translate. Transmit. Try to think on another language.

✅ Write down set expressions and idioms that make your speech sound more natural. Use them actively and consciously.

✅ Write down the stories on your life and the topics of your expertise. Be ready to discuss them any time. Learn the relevant vocabulary.

✅ Use every chance to communicate and practice. It’s ok if you make mistakes. Practice makes perfect.

✅ Immerse into a language by watching movies, reading stories and changing the language setting on your devices. Be curious.

✅ Enjoy! It’s such an incredible journey! Have fun on the way!

The biggest part of my work is to encourage my students, unfold their potential and make them dare to reach their goals.

When I adjust a personal learning plan, I find the most effective way for a particular student to make progress. The plan depends on my student’s strengths, weaknesses, previous experience and goals.
