It’s been 5 days of work, rest, play and reflection at . And today we completed the fence!! So proud of these young people. ❤️

Day 1 of “fencing” :)

We’re headed to for 6 days to learn about what it means to be a redemptive business and to serve the community there. Stay tuned! Prayers appreciated!

After a heavy week of discussing social issues, getting out into the sun was just what we needed. Beach cleanup with .fathers.world =

✅ creation care
✅ fresh air
✅ remembering we are embodied creatures
✅ spiritual formation - to serve without complaining
✅ service learning prep

We collected 120kg of trash and saved 3 crabs!

- What does it mean to be the church?
- Who are the excluded in our churches?
- What can we do to include them in our communities and discipling efforts?

These were the important questions we discussed this week which ended with a wonderful time with Ames and Cherie from . The session ended with a time of prayer for the groups of people we want to see in our churches. Lord make us your hands and feet, eyes and ears to enable this to happen - that in our diversity your glory is revealed!

We’re halfway through FYP 2025?! here’s a snapshot of what we covered in the past 3 weeks:

- the wisdom of God in math and science
- the imago Dei and what it means to be human
- we nourished our souls with the true, good and beautiful with our very own fyp artists and
- we nourished our bodies with good food and exercise/movement
- we heard from guest speakers and who shared about coaching and writing respectively… and so much more!

Here’s a snapshot of the discussions that went on this week at FYP - ranging from the strange to the serious. We closed theology week with an intimate ask-me-(nearly)-everything session with our very own CAC pastors Rev Helen Hoe and Rev Edmund Koh .

Week 1 with this bunch flew by, ending with a pop and bang with guest speaker Desmond Tan. So good.
