一起“追”彩虹啦✨
小朋友们用手电筒和教具，把彩虹“请”到了墙壁上，仔细瞧了瞧彩虹里藏着哪些颜色。
接着，老师告诉大家彩虹出现的小秘密，还有它的七种颜色好朋友：
红🍎、橙🍊、黄🍋、绿🍃、蓝💙、靛💜、紫🍇。
动动小手时间，小朋友们变成小小艺术家，按数字1–7的顺序，为彩虹涂上了正确的颜色，再把作品贴得漂漂亮亮～
每一个小朋友都超认真，宝贝们不光把颜色认得牢牢的，还学会了彩虹的七色排队顺序啦～🥳
Parental Involvement 🧑🧑🧒✨
We had a special parent-child activity where Callen’s mum led us in a fun storytelling session! 📖 She read “Peppa’s New Baby Sister”, one of our favourites, and the children were all ears and full of excitement 💛
After the story, it was time to get creative! 🎨 Using colourful ink pads and templates, the children explored finger painting and created bright, beautiful prints with their little fingers. So much joy seeing the colours come alive! 👏🌈

🌏✨ International Friendship Day Fun! ✨🌏
This week, we celebrated International Friendship Day by diving deeper into the cultures of China 🇨🇳 and the Philippines 🇵🇭!
We experienced a little glimpse of how Chinese New Year is celebrated in China 🧧 and watched our teachers in action as they demonstrated the lively bamboo dance (Tinikling) 🎋💃
Our Junior Kindergarten had a blast getting hands-on from making dumplings from scratch 🥟 to trying out the Tinikling dance themselves!
Such a meaningful and fun-filled experience as we learn to appreciate different cultures around the world 💛🌍

We had the wonderful opportunity to visit Sultan Mosque and learn about its rich heritage, while gaining a deeper appreciation of the Muslim culture and how this meaningful festival is celebrated 🕌💛

Living & Non-Living Things 🌱🪨✨
This week, the children explored living and non-living things, learning to distinguish them by identifying characteristics such as growing 🌿, moving 🚶♂️, and needing food and water 💧.
We also went outdoors for an observation walk 🌳👀, where the children spotted and sorted items into the two categories before drawing what they found 🎨. It was a fun and meaningful hands-on experience that helped deepen their understanding of the world around them 🌍💛
A meaningful visit to the National Gallery ✨
Through art, we explored our body parts, how powerful and imaginative our minds can be, and how truly limitless our possibilities are. The children also experienced a Braille exhibition, learning firsthand about inclusivity and the importance of seeing the world through different perspectives.
We then followed up with a guided tour on “Growing together as a family” (a topic we’ve been discussing in class) focusing on the values that hold families together: love, care, respect, and commitment. Walking through the gallery, we discovered artworks that beautifully reflected these values.
We hope the children enjoyed the experience and continue to carry these values into their own homes 💕

✨ MapleBear Upper Thomson Year End Concert 2025 ✨
Our hearts are filled with pride watching our little ones shine on stage. Their courage, their teamwork and the joy in their eyes remind us how far they have come. Seeing them support one another, step up bravely and grow together in their education journey has been one of the most rewarding parts of our year. Every smile, every step and every moment today truly reflected their hard work and spirit.
To our wonderful parents, thank you for walking this journey with us. Your support, trust and encouragement mean more than words can express. This shared partnership is what allows every child to flourish, and we are so grateful to have all of you standing with us. And to those who joined in the performance, thank you for bringing such warmth and spontaneity. You made the day even more memorable.
And to our dedicated teachers, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. This concert is a reflection of your tireless effort, creativity and love. But beyond today, thank you for being the constant anchor for our school, giving your time, your hearts and your care to ensure our little ones feel supported, nurtured and inspired every single day. We truly would not be here without you.
