🇸🇬❤️ Our Singapore, Our Helpers! ❤️🇸🇬
What a meaningful and exciting National Day celebration we had today at MapleBear Toa Payoh! 🇸🇬✨
Dressed proudly in red and white, our children embarked on a journey to discover the everyday heroes who help make Singapore a safe, caring, and vibrant nation.
From caring for patients as 👩⚕️ doctors and nurses, protecting lives as 👨🚒 firefighters, defending our nation as 🪖 soldiers, moving people safely as 🚌 bus captains, to building our city as 🏗️ construction workers, every child had the opportunity to step into the shoes of our community helpers through hands-on role play and interactive activities.
Through meaningful play and real-world connections, our children not only learned about these important roles but also developed respect, empathy, and a sense of belonging to the Singapore community.
🎉 Happy 61st Birthday, Singapore! May we continue to grow together with kindness, resilience, and unity.

🎉 RACIAL HARMONY DAY 2026 – "Traditional Food, Shared in Harmony" 🎉
Our little ones came together to celebrate Singapore's rich multicultural heritage through the theme "Traditional Food, Shared in Harmony" — exploring the traditional foods that make our nation so wonderfully diverse.
Our children looked absolutely adorable dressed in traditional attire representing their cultural heritage, adding so much colour and meaning to the celebration! 💕
Here's what they got up to at each station:
🥮 Chinese Food Station
Little hands got creative with an Ang Ku Kueh playdough activity, learning about its meaning and symbolism in Chinese culture.
🍢 Malay Food Station
Children explored beloved festive treats through satay and Ondeh Ondeh playdough activities.
🫓 Indian Food Station
Aspiring "chefs" had fun with roti prata dough role-play — kneading, flattening, and flipping just like the real thing!
🥧 Eurasian Food Station
Children got crafty creating lattice pies, discovering the unique European and Asian influences in Eurasian cuisine.
Through hands-on play and exploration, our children learned that even though we come from different cultures, we can live, learn, and grow together in harmony. 🇸🇬✨
💕 Bridging Generations with Love 💕
Our MapleBear Toa Payoh family welcomed grandparents through our doors for a heartwarming Grandparents' Appreciation Day, part of our Start Small Dream Big (SSDB) journey! 🌟
Our little ones proudly took centre stage — singing songs they'd practised for weeks and playing musical instruments they lovingly crafted from recycled materials 🎶♻️
In a touching sharing session, children opened their hearts to their Ah Gong and Ah Ma, expressing gratitude for their love, care and guidance. Handmade appreciation cards were presented as tokens of love 💌, before everyone gathered for photos to treasure the memories 📸
Thank you to all the grandparents and family members who joined us — your presence made this celebration truly special. Here's to bridging generations, one song and one hug at a time! 🧡
🇸🇬 Honouring Our Everyday Heroes 🎖️❤️
In conjunction with SAF Day, our little ones proudly took part in the Appreciating NSmen Art Jam, a meaningful nationwide initiative organised by SAFRA in partnership with the Association of Early Childhood and Training Services (ASSETS).
Through this special activity, our children learnt about the importance of National Service and the valuable role our NSmen play in keeping Singapore safe and secure for all of us.
To show their appreciation, the children created heartfelt gifts for their fathers, grandfathers, and family members who have served or are currently serving National Service. 💌🎨
Beyond art-making, this experience gave our children the opportunity to learn about service, sacrifice, gratitude, and love — important values that help shape caring and appreciative individuals.
A big thank you to all our NSmen for your dedication and service to our nation! 🇸🇬✨

🌍 Earth Day Celebration🌱
In celebration of Earth Day (22 April), our children engaged in a series of meaningful, hands-on activities designed to deepen their understanding of caring for our environment 💚
Through these enriching experiences, we aim to nurture a strong sense of responsibility and a genuine appreciation for the world around them.
✨ What our little ones explored:
♻️ Recycling & Upcycling Craft – Transforming recycled materials into creative art pieces
📖 Storytelling Session – Discovering engaging stories about nature and protecting our Earth
🌍 Discussions – Learning simple, everyday actions such as saving water and reducing waste
Each activity was thoughtfully planned to be fun, interactive, and developmentally appropriate—helping to instil positive habits that can last a lifetime 🌱
🏡 We also encourage families to continue these meaningful conversations at home by involving your child in simple eco-friendly practices, such as recycling or switching off lights when not in use.
Together, let’s nurture a generation that cares for and protects our planet 🌏💚
