🍈 What began with one parent’s wish to bond more meaningfully with their child has grown into something we once only imagined.

Honeydew Hacker was created after we spoke with a parent who wanted a fun and meaningful way to spend time with their child, unplugged without screen. That simple conversation stayed with us and sparked an idea: what if families could connect through play while children learned something valuable at the same time?

From that idea, Honeydew Hacker was born, a cybersecurity card game designed to make cyber wellness engaging, approachable and fun for children, peppered with coding concepts that encourage them to think strategically as they play.

Seeing Honeydew Hacker grow from an idea into a full three-day challenge and watching our young participants gather around the tables to learn, practise and compete, felt like a dream come true. 💛

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our Kode Forward students, who stepped up and supported us throughout all three days of the event. From guiding participants and helping them understand the game to supporting the team behind the scenes, your initiative, responsibility and teamwork made a real difference.

You showed us that learning is not only about gaining knowledge, it is also about using what you have learned to contribute, lead and support others. We are incredibly proud of each of you. 🙌✨

Honeydew Hacker started with one meaningful conversation. Today, it has become a game, a learning experience and a tournament that brought our community together.

🏆 After hours of learning, practising and competing, meet our Top 3 Honeydew Hackers! 🍈💻

The journey to the final was not an easy one. Before tournament day, our participants completed two days of workshops and practice sessions, where they learned the rules of the Honeydew Hacker card game, explored important cybersecurity concepts and developed strategies through multiple guided and friendly matches.

With every practice round, they learned to think more carefully, make quicker decisions and adapt when things did not go according to plan.

From the Group Stage to the elimination rounds and Grand Final, our young participants demonstrated determination, strategic thinking and wonderful sportsmanship.

We are delighted to announce the Top 3 winners of the Honeydew Hacker Challenge 2026:

At Kodecoon Academy, we believe that learning goes beyond the classroom. Through experiences such as the Honeydew Hacker Challenge, we give children opportunities to explore technology and cybersecurity in an engaging and meaningful way.

We are proud of every participant who stepped forward to take part. Whether or not you brought home a medal, you gained new knowledge, challenged yourself and became a more confident problem-solver and that is already an achievement worth celebrating. 🌟

What if your child could programme a robot dog? 🤖🐾

Meet Kody, Kodecoon’s newest high-tech companion, the DEEP Robotics Lite 3!

Kody can sit, leap, climb slopes and even perform a backflip. Behind every movement is a combination of coding, sensors, intelligent control and robotics:

⚙️ Weighs approximately 12 kg
🎒 Carries up to 5 kg
⛰️ Handles slopes of up to 40°
🚧 Clears obstacles up to 18 cm
🔋 Operates continuously for around 1.5–2 hours

So, why did we bring a robot dog to Kodecoon?

At Kodecoon, we believe in going beyond coding on a screen. We want to bring students into the real world, where they can see how code interacts with physical machines and understand the exciting possibilities of Physical AI,technology that can sense, move and respond to its surroundings.

Students can look forward to upcoming programmes featuring Kody, where they may get hands-on opportunities to explore how a quadruped robot is controlled and programmed. It’s a chance to turn abstract coding concepts into real movements they can see, test and improve!

From building ideas to presenting them to the community!

Last Saturday, our Kode Forward students stepped beyond the classroom at the Singapore Digital Office Kampong Fiesta, putting their communication, confidence and problem-solving skills into action. 💡

Our students proudly presented NeedsLink SG and SilverDeliveryMotion, two apps created by them to address real community needs. Throughout the event, they spoke with members of the public, explained how their apps work and gathered valuable feedback to help them think about how their solutions could be further improved.

A particularly proud moment was when our students had the opportunity to present their projects to Bernadette Giam, PAP Sengkang East Branch Chairperson. They confidently explained their ideas and the purpose behind their projects, and it was wonderful to see her interest and encouragement as they shared what they had created. 👏

We’re incredibly proud of how our students stepped forward, spoke confidently and represented Kode Forward throughout the day. 💙

At Kode Forward, learning goes beyond coding. We want our students to take what they learn into the real world, communicating their ideas, listening to feedback and using technology to create meaningful impact.

What if your child could experience cybersecurity beyond the classroom? 🔐💻

As technology becomes an increasingly important part of everyday life, learning how to stay safe online and understand cybersecurity is becoming essential for the next generation.

Kodecoon is proud to be a corporate partner of the Association of Information Security Professionals (AiSP) [AiSP], a professional body dedicated to promoting cybersecurity awareness and knowledge across the community, including among youths.

In this video, Terence Siau, Director at AiSP, shares how our partnership allows Kodecoon and AiSP to extend cybersecurity outreach to younger children across Singapore.

Through this collaboration, we hope to give our students opportunities to:

🛡️ Develop cybersecurity awareness from a young age
💻 Understand how cybersecurity is applied beyond the classroom
🤝 Gain exposure to industry insights and professionals
🌐 Experience real-world projects and practical applications
🚀 Explore future pathways in technology and cybersecurity

By connecting learning with real-world experiences, students can better understand why cybersecurity matters and how the skills they develop can be applied in today’s digital world.

The mystery parcel has finally been revealed… 👀📦

Meet Kody, Kodecoon’s newest companion, our very own robot dog! 🤖🐾

Kody may look like a puppy, but there’s a lot of technology packed into those four legs. From walking around the classroom and responding to controls, to sitting, shaking paws, showing off some moonwalk moves and even leaping forward, he definitely surprised us with what he can do. 😂

Of course, it didn’t take long before everyone started treating him like a real dog too, complete with pats, commands and a few “good boy” moments along the way. 🐶💛

Beyond being fun to have around, Kody is also a little glimpse into how robotics and technology can come to life in ways that are interactive, engaging and exciting. Safe to say, our newest teammate has already made quite an entrance. 👀

A mysterious parcel has arrived at Kodecoon… 📦👀

It started off like any ordinary day, until someone walked in carrying a rather suspicious-looking package.

What could possibly be inside? A new gadget? A surprise for our students? Or could it really be Kodecoon’s newest companion? 👀

There was only one way to find out…

So of course, they brought it into the classroom and started opening it. 📦

But judging from their reaction when they finally saw what was inside… we think this might be something pretty exciting. 🤭

Unfortunately, we’re not showing you just yet. 😂
