From the moment our students arrived in Tianjin, China, this journey became more than just a competition.
It was the early excitement of reaching the venue, the careful setting up of robots, the focused testing, the last minute adjustments, the nervous waiting before each run, and the courage to step forward when it was finally their turn to compete.
It was not only about the final result, but about watching our students grow through every challenge. Seeing them stay calm under pressure, support their teammates, adapt to new situations, and continue giving their best made us incredibly proud.
To our students, thank you for showing courage, resilience, and heart. Thank you for representing Singapore with so much dedication and for reminding us that true growth happens when we keep moving forward, even when the journey is not easy.
To our parents, thank you for your trust, encouragement, and endless support. Thank you for cheering from the sidelines, calming the nerves, celebrating every small moment, and believing in your children throughout this journey. Your presence gave them strength.
To our teachers, thank you for the patience, guidance, and dedication behind the scenes. From training sessions to competition day, your support helped our students step onto the international stage with confidence.

As part of our KodeForward initiative, our Kodecoon students had the opportunity to volunteer at Journey of Hope, a meaningful charity event organised by .media in support of beneficiaries from School Pocket Money Fund.
One of the most inspiring moments of the day was hearing Guest of Honour, Member of Parliament , share his personal journey. This is exactly the “curiosity credit” he spoke about…the belief that every opportunity is worth exploring. He shared that he too came from the Normal Technical (NT) stream, and his path to where he is today was built not overnight, but through years of perseverance, effort, and many hours of practice.
He reminded everyone with a simple but powerful message:
“When opportunities come your way, take them. If you try something and it’s not for you, that’s okay. If you try and it becomes something you love, that’s even better.”
He went on to emphasise that interest is what starts the journey, practice is what builds it, and talent is what grows over time. Nothing meaningful is achieved instantly. It is shaped through consistency, effort, and countless nights of learning and improving.
This message deeply resonated with our students. Whether in robotics, coding, or life beyond the classroom, growth comes from curiosity, courage, and consistent practice. His story served as a powerful reminder that where we start does not define where we can go what matters is the willingness to try, learn, and keep going.
Every opportunity is a stepping stone. Every effort counts. Every journey begins with curiosity.
Right after receiving their awards at RoboCup Asia Pacific 2026 in Tianjin, we asked our students how they felt in that very moment. 🏆✨
From sharing what their team won, to expressing their excitement after receiving their achievements, their answers reminded us that competitions are not only about trophies they are about growth, courage, teamwork, and learning how to keep going even when things get challenging.
For many of them, this journey started from small steps in the classroom: learning how to build, code, troubleshoot, communicate, and trust their teammates. And now, they are standing proudly on an international stage, representing their hard work and passion.
This is the type of opportunity and transformation we provide to our students.

🏆🇸🇬 FROM SINGAPORE CHAMPIONS TO ASIA PACIFIC CHAMPIONS 🇸🇬🏆
We are proud to share that we are the first Singapore team to achieve Champion in this category at RoboCup Asia Pacific, a historic milestone for our students!
We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievements of our students at RoboCup Asia Pacific 2026 in Tianjin, China:

🥈 Team Explosion — First Runner Up
🥈 Team Ablaze — First Runner Up
Having already claimed these titles in Singapore, our students have now gone on to achieve the same success at the Asia Pacific level a remarkable accomplishment that places them among the best in the region. 🌏🤖
But this journey was never just about winning trophies.
Throughout the competition, teams faced ever changing conditions, unfamiliar maps, and unexpected challenges. Every run demanded quick thinking, adaptability, and the courage to keep improving when things did not go according to plan.
This is where true learning happens.
Our students learned to Adapt, Transform, and Breakthrough.
Embracing challenges, learning from setbacks, and finding solutions under pressure. They discovered that resilience matters just as much as technical skills, and that success comes from perseverance, teamwork, and the willingness to keep moving forward.
The confidence they have gained, the friendships they have built, and the lessons they have learned will stay with them far beyond this competition.
Today, we celebrate not only Singapore Champions and Asia Pacific Champions, but also a group of young individuals who have grown into stronger thinkers, better teammates, and future innovators ready to take on whatever challenges lie ahead.

We asked our students to describe their international experience at Robocup Asia Pacific 2026 in one word.

What these answers don’t fully capture are the countless hours of preparation, the challenges overcome, the lessons learned, and the courage it took to step onto an international stage and represent our school.
Most importantly, it was a reminder that growth happens when we dare to step outside our comfort zones.
We are incredibly proud of our students. Not just for what they achieved, but for the resilience, teamwork, and determination they demonstrated throughout the entire journey.

Today at RoboCup, we asked parents a simple question: “Who‘s more nervous today, you or your child?”
While the students confidently stood in the competition field, the parents were busy crossing their fingers, holding their breath, and hoping everything would go according to plan. 🤞🤖
Turns out, the robots weren‘t the only things running on high energy today. Good luck to all the teams
and to the parents surviving the emotional rollercoaster from the sidelines! 😂
They said they wanted to go to RoboCup Asia Pacific… they didn’t say they knew where it was. 😅🤖🌏
From shrugging their way through the idea of it… to finally standing right here at the RoboCup Asia-Pacific 2026 venue.
