Holiday camps for every age at La Petite Ecole in Singapore! ☀️🎃🐰🧧

Throughout the 2026–2027 school year, LPE will be opening its doors during the holidays with different camp programmes designed for children from 2 to 12 years old.

🎨 LPE Holiday Camps
Fun-filled days combining creative activities, movement, discovery and plenty of opportunities to make new friends.
🕘 9:00 am – 2:45 pm

🌱 A special camp for our youngest children | Ages 2–4
Led by Marie, our TPS/PS teacher, together with LPE teachers and assistants experienced in caring for young children. The programme is specially adapted to their age and rhythm, with arts & movement, an outdoor outing and nap time included.
🕘 9:00 am – 2:45 pm

🇨🇳 Chinese Holiday Camp with Haha Chinese | Ages 7–12
For beginner and intermediate learners looking to develop their Mandarin skills in an engaging and immersive environment.
🕘 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
📅 Available during selected holiday weeks from October 2026 to August 2027.

🇫🇷 French classes are coming to La Petite Ecole in Singapore!

We are delighted to partner with Alliance Française de Singapour to bring French classes for adult beginners to our premises at One Holland Village.

Starting this October, classes will take place twice a week in the evening, offering a convenient opportunity to learn French in the heart of Holland Village, whether you are a complete beginner, a parent wishing to connect more with the language, or simply someone who has always wanted to give French a try.

This morning, La Petite Ecole in Singapore came back to life!

A genuinely joyful morning reconnecting with our families, welcoming more than 40 new ones, and watching our pupils walk through the doors and discover their classrooms for the year ahead.

For our teachers, it was a particularly special moment. After several days spent preparing, planning and getting everything ready, they could finally meet the children they had been waiting to welcome.

And this year, finding your classroom also means taking a little journey around Singapore. 🇸🇬

Sentosa, Marina Bay, Mandai, Dempsey, Bugis, Queenstown, Hillview, Robertson Quay, Clarke Quay and Tiong Bahru: each of our classes now carries the name of a place in the country we call home.

A fitting introduction to our theme for the year: “Singapore, Our Home Country”.
New classrooms, new faces, familiar ones too, and a whole new year ahead of us.

Behind every first day of school is a team that has been preparing for days. 💛

Today, our whole team came together for one final day of preparation before welcoming our pupils back tomorrow.

A highlight of the day was an interactive workshop led by coach Yaël Collet, exploring how a growth mindset can shape the way we support each child’s learning journey.

Together, we reflected on moving beyond results to focus on progress, using constructive feedback, strengthening the individual relationship with each child, and turning these principles into concrete everyday practices. We also took time to reflect as a team on the kind of school we want to continue building together. 🌱

Tomorrow, our classrooms come alive again — and we can’t wait to welcome our pupils and families for a new school year!

Congratulations to our talented young artists! 🎨

We are delighted to celebrate the achievements of our students in the STAEDTLER World Kids Colouring Day 2026 competition.

This year's theme, "Football, Friends & Colouring Fun", invited children to express through art the values of teamwork, friendship and fair play, while letting their imagination run free.

A special congratulations to Malo, who was awarded 2nd Prize in Category IS-B, as well as to Charlotte and Margaux, who both received Consolation Prizes.

Their creativity, imagination and artistic talent truly stood out, and we are incredibly proud of all three students for representing La Petite Ecole in Singapore so wonderfully.

Well done to our young artists, and thank you to STAEDTLER for inspiring children around the world to express themselves through creativity and colour! 🌈

A fantastic first year for our YCT candidates! 🇨🇳

This year marked La Petite Ecole in Singapore’s first-ever participation in the official Youth Chinese Test (YCT), an internationally recognised Mandarin proficiency examination for young learners.

We are incredibly proud of our students. In our very first participation in the official Youth Chinese Test (YCT), 27 of our 28 candidates (96%) earned at least one YCT certificate, six students achieved certifications at two different examination levels, and seven students attained full marks—an outstanding achievement for our inaugural cohort.

These results reflect months of dedication, curiosity and perseverance from our students, as well as the commitment of our Mandarin teaching team.

As a trilingual school, we believe language learning is about much more than vocabulary and grammar. It builds confidence, opens doors to new cultures, and prepares children to thrive in an international environment.

Congratulations to every student who took on this challenge. We couldn’t be prouder!
