Manjusri Secondary held its annual Vesak observance ceremony at the school hall on 22 May. The school hosted a group of twenty seniors from 4S Active Aging Centre (Eunos Crescent) on the occasion. The seniors enjoyed an arts and craft workshop session with student volunteers before joining the audience at the hall for the ceremony.
St Patrick’s School student leaders also visited that day to learn about customs and practices related to Vesak to promote inter-faith understanding. They too joined the assembly to witness the proceedings. This curated learning experience arose from an initiative on how different schools can collaborate to benefit one another.
The ceremony began with a rendition of the 三宝歌 (Triple Gem Song) led by the members of the Buddhist Interact Club, continued with the offering of lights to Buddha and the bathing of the statue of baby Prince Siddhartha by staff and students.

Manjusri Secondary School held its Biennial Art Fiesta III on 11 April, at the Singapore Conference Hall. The event was graced by representatives from the School Management Committee, Parent Support Group, Alumni and distinguished guests.
Students from our Performing Arts Group, Chinese Dance, Chinese Orchestra, Choir and Concert Band, as well as Wushu, Learning for Life Programme and the Alumni took the stage to tell the Manjusri Story. A story of each and every Manjusrian rising above challenges and blooming like the lotus - exemplifying good conduct and making meaningful differences in society.
It was a vibrant showcase of talent and passion—a shared narrative in which everyone has a role to play, and an identity that resonates with all.
Kudos to all our backstage crew, our unsung heroes, MJR Media Club and MJR NCC 🫡 and our MJR Student Council ushers 🫶
