Another step closer to our Toy Library #93!

Napandong Elementary School has just received two boxes filled with toys and books for our upcoming toy library project!

In about two weeks, we'll be back in Guimaras to upgrade the mini library we established two years ago into a full toy library - giving the learners a bigger, more fun and engaging space to play, read and learn.

Thank you to everyone who continues to support Share Your Spare Singapore. Your generosity allows us to reach more schools and bring hope and joy to more children.

This box of toys and storybooks was packed and ready way back in March, but due to a lack of funds, we had to put the shipment on hold.

Finally, after months of waiting, it’s now on its way to Nonoc Elementary School in Claveria, Masbate!

It may have taken longer than we hoped, but we’re grateful that it’s finally making its journey to the kids who will enjoy these toys and books.

13 Toy Libraries and Counting in Guimaras!

Since we started exploring Guimaras Island, we’ve been blessed with the opportunity to create 13 Toy Libraries across the province - bringing toys, books and more opportunities to learn and play to children in different communities.

Our very first toy library was at Salvador Ibieza Elementary School (formerly known as Paaralan ng Buhay ng Tamborong) and our latest one was at Unisan Multigrade School on Unisan Island.

But we’re not stopping here! What’s next?

📍 Napandong Elementary School - upgrading the mini library into a Toy Library
📍 Salvador Ibieza Elementary School - replenishing the existing Toy Library
📍 San Enrique Elementary School - upgrading the mini library into a Toy Library

A gentle reminder to all our generous donors: we only collect English storybooks, suitable for children aged 3–16 years old.

Our toy libraries and mini libraries are usually located in day care centers and schools, so we kindly ask that donated books are age-appropriate and suitable for children.

We truly appreciate every donation and your continued support. Please help us make sure that every book donated is something the children can enjoy, read, and learn from.

One of our Toy Libraries in Guimaras is at Cabungahan Elementary School.

It’s always heartwarming to see how these spaces bring joy to children and give them a place where they can learn, read, play and simply be kids.

And we’re not stopping here! Next month, we’ll be launching another Toy Library in Guimaras, bringing more toys, books and most importantly, more smiles to the children of this beautiful island province.
