So I'm revising spelling words with the 6yo, and asked for a sentence with the word "Down". Before big sis could answer, the 3yo walks up to me and asks, "Down? Like downward dog, Mama? Like this?" and she proceeds with the pose! π€©π
Haiyooo... Why so cute?? ππ
THATS WHEN YOU KNOW YOUVE GOT YOGIS IN DA' HAUS!

πHappy birthday to the 2 big loves of my life- my beloved daddy and my little honeybunny! π *Their dates are 1 day apart*
Indeed, the Lord has blessed them greatly with grace and favour, because He loved them deeply. For daddy, He showers upon him health, renewed youth, wisdom and many good days ahead! For B, comes blessings of boldness, beauty, brains, and a heart for the people. π Amen.

NOW, CAKE AND COFFEE PLEASE..! π°β

Its been several weeks into phase 2. Whilst the kids have adjusted well heading back to school (they never really had a problem, really!), it seems like its us (me and the husband) that feels IT- the difference of not having them around all day! π
Of course, the breather was much needed, but you know, we really do miss them! And whats the weekends when it comes and passes so quickly?
SO WE PULLED THEM OUT FROM SCHOOL AND HEADED TO SENTOSA. On a weekday, no crowd, fabulous weather.

BEST THING EVER.

π€©What a beautiful way to end the Friday! πFor our creativity roster today, its all about footprints! π£
Both kids selected the animal/insect of their preference and colours, including the background! Painting the foot and printing it can be alil tricky, hence i've got to help alil.
Then, its freewill!! π€©π
How amusing it is that the 3yo can pick such dark colours for her dino's pic.. Very prehistoric feel, yea? Perfect memento too β€οΈ

πJust as FB and IG is filled with pictures of people completing their workouts, sweaty selfies with very satisfied faces, THIS IS MINE.π€‘
Its 'Yoga meets Circus': Unplanned.
In plain words: my workout was SABOTAGED.
π€Έπ»ββοΈWorking out with lil kids around are always a tricky situation. And for me, (with no helper), its mostly the "Give & Take" scenario.π§
π Daily, the kids have a 'Yoga&Movement' scheduled, and depending on whats planned, I'll seize the opportunity to squeeze in a little something for myself.π
Hence, the 'Give&Take' situation. And why not? If the body is already pretty much revved up with energy and heat, do something efficient!
πBut remember, SOMETHING'S GOTTO GIVE- compromise with music, 20mins instead of 60mins, interruption, "Mama... Toilet!!!"..you get the idea. π
A few days ago, things took a turn.π Mommy on all-4s seems like a perfect platform /wall. So the 6yo mounts with her hula hoop whilst the 3yo used me for her supported handstand, butt stuffed in my face. WHAT THE.
πΈ"Almost there!" and the husband snapped it for memory. Oh wells, 2 more weeks to the end, right?

That's what happens when one watches a foodshow on Netflix at night- you see something simple and mouthwatering, and you make it for breakfast π€© man, is it filling!
28/05/2020
CHOOSE: NETFLIX OR YOGA..
ME: CAKE, COFFEE & NETFLIX!!
πππ
Before you start to judge:
Since the start of CB, Netflix walked out of my door. Even when it does "popby" , you're talkin prolly 3x in a week, 20mins max πͺ *SIGH*
With very lil screentime allowed, the kids are watching my every move, and their sense of hearing have heightened π³. Their 20mins screentime are only allowed on weekends, so the 6YO is very much on her toes for ANY chance to seize a peep! π With that, it also means back-to-back kids/house/teaching action- its a longgggg day.
And no longer can i have my usual outlet of a breather with a short clip of a show, whilst having lunch or coffee break- you don't get it..it doesn't feel complete!! π
And if you recall, the 3yo is a late party person π¦ Sleeping at 1130pm, by the time I'm done, it's 1230am or even 1am.π΅
BUT TODAY, THE 3YO IS ASLEEP ALRDY YO! πππ
I'm so tired but so happy BECAUSE ITS MY ME-TIME. No long dramas or movies for me, no point. 20 mins and only able to watch every few days once? WATCH WHAT LA??π
Since ive got cake today (yes, the husband knows my heart), i'll choose coffee and Netflix, even if its just 20mins π₯°π°β.

π€©HOW CAN WE FORGET ABOUT OVERNIGHT OATS! ππ₯° with all its goodness in a jar, it was my ultimate go-to quick meal in the maternity months when i had my firstborn. With no helper, I was juggling the needs and wants of a baby, housechores, learning as I go and sometimes, meals can be overlooked when its actually reaaaaally important for a breastfeeding mom. βπ»Absolutely delicious and easily customisable, you can make several jars and keep it up to 5 days! Topping up with fresh fruits and nuts, it aint any wonder the kids love the superfood too!! π
In this instance, breakfast for the 3yo can be quite a challenge. But THIS wins her, handsdown! πππ»
