We have a weekday run of our Knitwear class coming up, starting on the 29th of September, every Tuesday, 9.30 am to 1pm!

Work on 2 projects : an oversized top and a dress of your choice.

We will cover all the basics of knitwear and sewing with jersey, from setting up the machine for success, learning how to use a cover stitch machine, twin needle settings and more! Please note that this is an intermediate class and will require prior sewing experience.

Here is the up-coming schedule for our Beginner Apparel Classes in August, September and October:

Suitable for complete beginners to sewing, you’ll learn all the basics from operating a sewing machine on day 1, to completing a pair of pants in 4 weeks and a top or dress at the end of 8 weeks! And of course our Beginner apparel Casual pants class and Shift Top/Dress may be taken separately ✂️

Be it for future sewing bees or just to have some bonding time amongst friends and family, come join our little sewing community!

The goal of our Sew Basic classes are to allow the participants to immerse themselves in the sewing process, and to get really comfortable working with the sewing machine.

From having absolutely no experience at the start to completing a reversible bag with pockets by the end of week 4, every week ups the challenge little by little!

Sew basic 1’s foldable shopping bag

As we venture into slightly more complicated projects like this shopping bag here, we also introduce our students to very helpful tools such as the ✨bias tape maker✨, coming in clutch whenever straps are needed to be made!
And of course, the importance of ironing!
While it can seem like a hassle, taking the time to properly press and prepare your seams makes a world of a difference when we sew, and the outcome of the sewing project.

Come pick up some of these tips at our next run of Sew Basic 1 starting 5th June, Friday 10 am to 12 noon!
