Some moments are worth more than words.

This National Day, our children, families and community came together with one simple purpose, to give back to those who spend their days caring for others. From every contribution at our carnival to every little hand that helped prepare the care kits, each act of kindness came together to honour the healthcare heroes at Ng Teng Fong General Hospital JurongHealth Campus

To our parents, thank you for showing our children that giving can begin with something small, yet mean so much. All proceeds raised went towards preparing the care kits for our healthcare heroes. To our supporting partners, Jurong SDA Church, Youngberg Wellness and Art Journey, thank you for believing in this little initiative and standing alongside our children and families.

Together, we showed our children that celebrating our nation can also mean caring for our community.

Giving Back, One Heart at a Time

Our annual Pay It Forward (PIF) event, organised by Jurong SDA Church, is a special community initiative that brings people together to support families and individuals in the Yuhua community. Guided by the spirit of kindness and service, the event reaches out to those in need, regardless of race, language or religion.

Our K2 children were honoured to perform a musical item for the beneficiaries and our Guest of Honour, Minister Grace Fu. Beyond the performance, it was a meaningful opportunity for our children to experience what it means to care for others and be active members of the community. Through events like these, they learn that even small acts of kindness can make a big difference.

Our K1 children embarked on an exciting learning journey to the Sustainable Singapore Gallery as part of their Term 3 theme: Water.

Through interactive exhibits and hands-on learning, the children discovered why water is such a precious resource in Singapore. Despite our modern infrastructure, Singapore has limited natural water resources, making every drop valuable. They also learnt how everyone can play a part in conserving water through simple daily habits, such as turning off the tap while brushing their teeth, taking shorter showers and using only what they need.

Learning extends beyond the classroom and experiences like these help our children become responsible and caring citizens who understand the importance of protecting our environment for future generations.

Our K2 children had an exciting learning journey to San Yu Adventist School, where they got a special glimpse into primary school life!

From exploring the computer room, science lab, pastoral care room and canteen to stepping into a real primary school classroom, our children had the opportunity to discover what learning in primary school is like.

One of the biggest highlights? Buying their own lunch! 🍽️ The children confidently ordered their food, made payment and collected their meals independently—a fun and meaningful way to practise responsibility and build confidence!

It was a wonderful day filled with curiosity, excitement and new experiences, helping our little learners feel more confident and prepared for the next chapter ahead.

Learning to care for our world!
Our K2 children recently explored the fascinating topic of biodiversity and discovered how pollution, global warming and human activities can affect different habitats and the animals that call them home. Through hands-on sensory play experiences, they investigated real-world environmental challenges, such as the melting of Arctic ice due to rising global temperatures and how it affects polar bears that rely on the ice for resting, travelling and hunting.

As young environmental stewards, the children reflected on how changes in our environment can affect the survival of living things. They then worked together to create posters sharing simple yet meaningful ways we can help protect our planet,
including reducing pollution, conserving resources and caring
for nature.

Through small everyday actions, our children are learning that they can make a big difference in caring for God's creation.

Learning comes alive when children explore through curiosity, discovery and hands-on experiences.

Our Nursery children recently explored fruits and seeds through a sensory-rich learning experience! As they tasted a colourful variety of rainbow fruits, they observed the different textures, smells, colours and seeds hidden inside each fruit.

The learning continued through imaginative play as the children became little fruit sellers, sorting fruits according to their seed types — such as the number of seeds and where the seeds are found within the fruit.

Through exploration, conversations and purposeful play, our children develop confidence, curiosity and a joyful love for learning every day.
