Ahmed is a research assistant at the Office of Education Research, National Institute of Education (NIE). He works with a team to design pedagogical strategies and curricula involving the use of immersive learning environments and open-source hardware (such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi). His previous work at NIE involved designing educational games in the areas of physics, chemistry, and citizenship education. He has a degree in Computing from the National University of Singapore. He studied Philosophy in National University of Singapore, and his current research interests include cognition, curriculum design and game design.
