Ahmed is a research assistant at the Office of Education Research, National Institute of Education (NIE). He works with a team to design pedagogical strategies and curricula involving the use of immersive learning environments and open-source hardware (such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi). His previous work at NIE involved designing educational games in the areas of physics, chemistry, and citizenship education. He has a degree in Computing from the National University of Singapore. Ming-De is a research assistant at Singapore's National Institute of Education specialising in design and development of technology to enhance learning. He studied Philosophy in National University of Singapore, and his current research interests include cognition, curriculum design and game design. Currently he is working with a team that develops 3D virtual worlds and open-source hardwares to create collaborative learning
