Empowering young lives. Supporting young dreams. Leave no child behind.
The Business Times (BT) and TRCL share a common belief that every artistically gifted child in Singapore should be given the opportunity to develop that talent regardless of his/her family's financial background. To realise this vision, The Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BT BAF) aims to level up the playing field for families who do not have the means to enable their children to pursue their

An evening of art, stories, and meaningful conversations. ✨
Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening preview of Collected Chapters: Christine Mak on the evening of 26 May.
Bringing together works spanning decades of the artist’s life and practice, the exhibition offered a rare glimpse into the memories, reflections, and journeys behind each piece — reminding us how art can quietly hold the stories of a life lived.
More than an exhibition, Collected Chapters is also about impact. Proceeds from artwork acquisitions support The Business Times Budding Artists Fund (BT BAF) and The Olive Tree Fund, extending these stories beyond the gallery and into the communities they serve.
We’re deeply grateful for the support, conversations, and shared moments from the evening.
The exhibition is now open to the public from 27 May to 5 June, 11am to 8pm at the Visual Arts Centre (Dhoby Gaut). Exhibition will close at 4pm on 5 June.
We look forward to welcoming you. 🤍
This Mother’s Day is especially meaningful as we celebrate the 21st anniversary of The Business Times Budding Artist Fund (BT BAF). This intimate, carnival-style celebration brings together our beneficiaries and their loved ones for an afternoon of shared experiences — from crafting personalised artworks and enjoying light-hearted games, to moments of joy as mothers, grandmothers, and caregivers are treated to well-deserved pampering.

What an unforgettable debut for the Art of Golf Charity Masters, held on 17 April at Sentosa Golf Club. ⛳️✨
Co-organised by Ring Road Collective and TRCL, our very first edition teed off in high spirits. Just as players were about to take their first swing, the skies opened—delaying play by an hour—but spirits never dampen. When the rain cleared, golfers stepped onto the course with even greater energy, laughter, and camaraderie, setting the tone for a truly memorable day.
Beyond the fairways, the true highlight was the impact we created together. More than $188,000 was raised in support of The Business Times Budding Artists Fund, advancing its Art of Play @ Schools initiative—bringing creativity and opportunity to young minds.
As the sun set, the atmosphere only grew more electric. Guests were treated to a lively evening of dining and entertainment, with singing and dance performances, interactive and novelty games, and a much-anticipated lucky draw that kept the excitement going all night.
This incredible event would not have been possible without the generous support of our major sponsors—Choo Chiang Marketing Pte Ltd, EagleWings Group, and VCI Global Limited—along with our valued partners, in-kind sponsors, and, of course, our amazing golfers.
