Thank you to all members, alumni, volunteers and supporters for joining us at the Nan Hua Primary School Alumni Association’s 28th AGM today.

We are encouraged to see new members joining the association and staying connected with our alma mater. Most importantly, we are proud to announce that the 15th Management Committee has been nominated to continue bringing the alumni chapter forward.

📚 “绘本中的生命教育”讲座 — 成为孩子的重要他人
Featuring renowned Taiwanese picture book author 刘清彦老师 (Uncle Ada)

If a picture book is a seed,
then every story we read with our children is a quiet way of shaping how they see the world 🌱

As shared during kidsREAD’s 20th anniversary:
“To nurture a love for reading in a child is to nurture a love for life itself.”

✨ Through storytelling and real-life experiences, Uncle Ada shares how books can help children navigate life’s challenges — sometimes in ways we only realise much later.

At Nan Hua Primary School, we honour our strong Chinese heritage while celebrating as one multi-racial community.

With Ramadan starting next week, the school thoughtfully brought forward our CNY celebrations so our Muslim teachers and staff could join in fully. A small shift, a big heart. ❤️

Last Saturday’s CNY luncheon brought everyone together, and yesterday we enjoyed the iconic 南华八宝粥 (big thank you to the Parent Connect volunteers!) — two beautiful moments, one united Nan Hua community.

We gathered this morning for our latest NHPS Alumni Association quarterly committee meeting — a meaningful time to pause, reflect, and plan ahead together.

🤝 How we continue to strengthen volunteerism and alumni involvement
🏫 Supporting Nan Hua Primary School in meaningful ways
🎉 Exploring how the Alumni can contribute to the School’s 110th Anniversary celebrations next year

Every conversation brings us back to the same purpose — giving back to the school that shaped us, and creating opportunities for alumni to stay connected across generations.
