At the NTU–Dell InnovateDash Finals, we caught up with finalist teams tackling a real-world challenge by Singapore Children’s Society (SCS):

How might we use technology to help youth workers quickly identify at-risk youths through social media, while staying privacy-conscious?

From idea to demo, 5 finalist teams presented their unique solutions to this complex challenge before a panel of judges from Dell Technologies and SCS.

It is a chance to gain hands-on experience, collaborate with peers from different disciplines, and explore a new country along the way.

Twelve student teams worked closely with industry partners and mentors to tackle real-world sustainability business challenges. Along the way, they built skills in leadership, communication, and interdisciplinary problem-solving, while gaining valuable industry exposure and expanding their networks.

We spoke to some participants about why they joined NTU PEAK, what they learned from the experience, and their advice for students who are considering stepping out of their comfort zone to gain industry experiences.

After a month of inspiring collaboration, ideation, and problem-solving, the 19th run of NTU PEAK has come to a close — and with our largest cohort of students yet.

The programme saw 12 interdisciplinary teams work closely with industry partners to tackle sustainability business challenges and present their recommendations at the finals.

To our participants: thank you for the energy, curiosity, and dedication over the past month.
